When I read that the Wirecutter section of the New York Times ranked these as the "Budget pick" in a best kitchen towels review, I knew I had to try them. They weren't wrong. My family tries to keep paper towel use to a minimum so we use these for everything: wipe up spills, wipe counters, clear appliances, dry dishes, dry hands, etc. They are absorbent and stand up to many, many washings. Highly recommended. I have bought these twice and will buy them again. No, they don't look pretty. That isn't what I need. I needed - and received - workhorse kitchen towels.
