No Pockets? No Worries!
The Lens Cap Keeper is definitely helping me keep my hands free for when I'm photographing. I'm a beginner photographer, mostly for my blog, and I was finding it really annoying having to constantly find a place to put my lens cap while trying to photograph anything. Being a female, skirts, some pants, and some tops don't have pockets to put the lens cap in and I don't always cart my camera bag with me everywhere. This has saved me so much lately! It was a bit difficult to get the paper that was covering the sticker to place this on the lens caps. Once I got the paper off, and placed it by pressing down pretty hard, it was stuck like chuck on the lens cap. It's decent quality. I can definitely see that in the future I may have to apply some adhesive to reattach, but right now it's holding tight like it's supposed to! Best investment (even if it's only a few bucks for 2 of them) I've made!

Lens cap keeper
This little device works. It keeps the lens-cover from being lost. The sticking tape is strong enough to adhere the cap for years. I have one purchased 20 years ago, which has the exact same design as today's product, and still adheres well! The new generation of zoom lens has thicker body and the original design of the elastic ring can hardly allow the lens going through. Furthermore, the thread linking the adhesive head and the ring becomes too short. The metal piece connecting the thread and the ring must stand up with tense which may scratch the surface of the lens. The new generation of camera lens-cover such as Nikon's does not have flat surface. The original size of the adhesive tape cannot find enough space on the cap to adhere itself flatly with its entire surface. This, of course, would weaken the adherence power and shorten the life span of the product.Even a perfect product requires review and improvement from time-to-time.Amazon's shipping is very effective. There was no shipping charge and their return policy is incredibly consumer friendly.

works as advertised, but doesn't last
I ordered 3 of these in March when I replaced my lens cap. The last one gave up the ghost last week. The first one lasted reasonably well, failing in mid/late June. The glue between the foam and the plastic failed. The second one lasted a few days before its glue also failed. The third one did the same thing, but having no more replacements I nursed it along until it was a complete loss. Additionally, the cord broke on the third one, I tied it to the elastic band, and it unraveled.I've kept the second one because it's in good shape, except for the adhesive. I plan on gluing it to my lens cap to see what life I can get out of it, but I'll probably use something I can remove after it fails. The short of it is this, the glue doesn't last long. I believe heat was a factor. The cord is woven and will unravel if damaged. This product works as advertised but doesn't last long. You could say that it is cheap in every sense of the word.

So far so good
I purchased two one for a 58mm lenses and one for 77mm lense I was afraid that it breaks when i put it to the bigger lenses so i did with care trying not to open it to much to get inside, also I cleaned the surface with cleaning clothes trying to avoid the loss of sticking. And so far none of the defectives or quality issues of other reviews have happened, remains one piece, remains attached to the cap keeper.the cap keeper is cheap, but i leave the cap dangle with no extra care, i put and remove the cap often on my 77mm lenses because i have not buy the protection filter and it remains on good shape, no signs of warning.I recommend the product, but i took the other reviews in mind on "my instalation instructions"

I liked it so much I bought 6 more...
I bought one of these after reading the reviews - some folks had issues with it sticking to their lens cap, I did too. One dob of super glue and no more problem! The plastics they use are formulated to NOT let dust stick to it - guess what, it works with sticky tabs too! This is a known problem, but most folks don't "know" about it. As I said above, one dob of super glue and no more problem.I used the first one I bought for over a year - it still works. I bought 6 more for my Nikon's, Fuji's and Canon's and their extra lenses. Sure, it's cheap, but it works! As long as you take care of it, it will be fine. I saw numerous reviews about how it came apart as soon as they installed it - I have to wonder - how BIG is their lens barrel? I haven't had a single problem like that - only getting it to stick to the "non-stick plastic".I am happy with it and would recommend it to a friend or three... And then hand them a tube of super glue!MP

Works like a charm...mostly
I have heard that some lens keepers don't have great adhesive. I haven't had a problem with this one, it still works great after a month of wear and tear (and I use my camera multiple times daily). The sticker came off the front but that is simply aesthetics and I don't care. I have a Canon Rebel Xs and it fits my lenses just fine. I put the elastic band around the middle of my lens and there is plenty of slack, even on my big lens (75-300mm). I'm not sure why the camera companies don't include a lens keeper with the cameras, but this is a must have product.I am updating my review. After using this product for a few months, I have found that the adhesive did give up on me. If you want to avoid this, just put a small dot of super glue on the product before applying it to the lens cap. You will avoid the situation altogether. I know, why buy something if it's not going to work? But I believe that you will find this same problem with any lens cap keeper.

Poor product
Poor quality. Doesn't justify the high cost. When I opened the package and tried peeling the adhesive cover from the double sided tape, the entire tape peeled off from the product. The tape doesn't fit very well on the camera. It came off while the camera was sitting on the table within a few hours.

Moderate quality for the price
If you let the lens cap dangle on it, eventually the adhesive loosens on the little button and you could loose your cap! Luckily, I saw when this happened the first time and held it from then on. I have since reinforced it with some super glue and now it's good! Worth it for the price

Broke the second day
I have used lens cap keepers in the past and really like them. My first one broke after about a year of use so I ordered this one online. It broke on day two from regular use. I would not purchase this product or recommend it.
