Doesn't have as much amperage as my stock alternator, even though they are identical.
Nice alternator replacement, just doesn't have as high of amperage as my stock alternator did. On cold mornings it sometimes takes a little longer getting my truck (1998 3500 6.5L Chevy turbo diesel) to fully turnover. Otherwise a great buy and well made product!

Works good. Charging better than the old one ever did. Time will tell if it last as long though. -----well at about a year and half. it started making loud whining noise, enough to hear inside cab ,now my wife hears me pull up in the drive way from inside the house . will have to replace again.

Great quality, bargain price.
Worked perfectly in my Chevy truck. Normally I don't write reviews, but this alternator cost me half the cost of the one I replaced 12 years ago, and half the cost of what Rock Auto wanted with the imposition of a core charge and return costs. I will buy spares for my other vehicles from these guys as an investment. Glad I checked Amazon before ordering. Thanks.
