High Performance Silicone Vacuum Hose - 10 feet - 1/2" ID (.5"|13mm) - Black

In the process of redoing all vacuum hoses, coolant and heater hoses, sensors, etc. under my intake manifold in a BMW E46 330i. The vacuum hoses behind the intake manifold were extremely brittle upon removal. I had originally thought of going to my local auto parts store for the hoses but read that those are extremely bad quality when it comes to heat.Luckily I came across NXS. I purchased the 3.5mm in 10 ft. Upon installation I could immediately see that it was better than the stock vacuum hoses. I was able to replace all the hoses with this one size even thougg the stock hoses came in varying sizes. The walls are thicker and according to the description is good with heat. Cutting the hoses are easy. I just used side cutting pliers.The blue color also really stands out. I will be buying more from NXS in the future!

Very thick and durable. I ordered the 3/16" ID for using with air testing equipment. Works extremely well and is decently flexible for the thickness. Test instruments are measuring 1/1000th of an inch/WC, so they need to be durable and not prone to micro cracks. My only complaint would be is that I wish it was a little higher silicone content for even more flex.Added a photo to show how nice and thick the walls are.*Update 7/2019:Still working great, even when used in an industrial environment where they are connected/disconnected from hose barbed test equipment, it's still holding up just as perfect as the day it was new. Has not lost any flexibility. While heavier and more cumbersome than neoprene hose, this is certainly more durable.

Appears to be good quality. Certainly outlasts any tie wraps that you would use to cap off the hoses. Did a burn test and BMW hoses combusted before this silicon did. Easy to trim and install. Flexible enough to not pinch if going around tight spaces is needed.Replaced all vacuum hoses on 335i n54 engine. 10 ft was more than enough.

Used these lines, Red, Black, Blue to replace my worn and corroded vacuum line on my 2012 X5 Diesel.The quality is much better than original and wont kink when bent. I ended up needed 3 packs of 9' line. The fitment is perfect to OEM and should withstand much higher heat resistance. I would say these are as good as braided lines if not better. From what I read, the lines shouldn't expand like traditional rubber lines, only time will test.

I ordered this to make brake savers for my off road motorcycles. I insert 3/32 braided steel wire into the tubing and then loop it around the frame, swage it, and then the other end goes to the brake and clutch pedals.Because on my new bikes the frame loop is close to the engine I waned something with high heat properties instead of the traditionally used vinyl tubing. I contacted the seller and they were very helpful and assured me this is tough stuff. I agree 100%. It's perfect for my project.I am going to get some of the larger inner diameter tubing and use it as a wiring conduit on the bike to protect some wires from my aux lights that will be run along the frame and back to the battery.

Fantastic replacement for rigid vacuum lines that have aged and cracked under the hood.Just be careful that this can't rub up against anything sharp. It is very soft and cut's very easily, but handles high temperature environments like a champ. May end up looking for a High temp sleeve to slid over this stuff to help protect it a little better from any possible abrasion.Used this to replace a large amount of vacuum tubing in my Audi Q7. saved me buying $300 worth of pre-bent plastic tubing. Reused the fittings from the old hard line with the new flexible line and I am good to go.

Replaced my vacuum one on me N54. Great fit and color stands out nicely. Matches my interior!

I would like to have given this product 5 stars but the color of the tubing is dull and much more faded that the picture depicts, kind of recieving as I have had other vacuum lines that were same color as items picture. Overall good quality and thick tubing.
