Here's how they work
I measured both thermostats, just to be sure. The thermostat with a BLUE dial (KTS 011) is used for cooling applications. When the ambient temperature is BELOW the set point, its contacts are OPEN. When the ambient temperature rises ABOVE the set point, the contacts are CLOSED. Use this to control a ventilation fan. When the air gets hot, the thermostat will turn on the FAN and turn it off again when the air gets cooler. The thermostat with a RED dial (KTO 011) is used for heating applications. When the ambient temperature is ABOVE the set point, its contacts are OPEN. When the ambient temperature drops BELOW the set point, the contacts are CLOSED. Use this to control a heater. When the air is cool it will turn on a heater. When the air warms up, it will turn off the heater.Note that these devices are mount to a 35mm DIN rail. The instructions indicate they have 7 C degrees of hysteresis.

Works great.
Perfect for my needs.

"normally open" = turns the heater on when it is cold.
Small enough to be hidden in a 4x4 electrical box

seller is wrong
I ordered the red because in the question section his answer to the question was, "the red thermostat is closed in normal, when the temperature lower than the temperature that you set, the controller will open, when the temperature over your set, the controller will close".OPEN in an electrical switch means off. Closed means power flows. so I recieved the opposite of what I needed. This one closes when the temp is lower than what you set. It works as designed but is absolutely useless for me. waste of time and $ because the seller can not properly describe his own product.

What the seller said, in the comments id WRONG, now I have a non-working system!
If you read what the seller said, in the comments, he is saying both the red and blue do the same thing. Basically the SELLER says about the red one "when the temperature lower than the temperature that you set, the controller will open". He then goes on to say about the blue one "When the temperature is lower than the set temperature, it will be off."Tell me how those two are different; I read the first paragraph and said the red one is for me! When it gets too hot, (red" I need to turn on the fan. Not so! I need the blue one, and now it's too late, the product is shipping.

Lotsa FUN in Basic Electrical Theory
The problem? This nifty device does the job of opening the circuit, all too well. Originally, I hardwired the device directly on a 1500 watt space heater, just for laughs, grins, and laziness. As any genius electronics rocket scientist might have guessed, that's lots of wire load. Current causes the device to heat prematurely. The circuit opens, less than a minute of flowing current, way before room temperature reaches the desired set point.Solution? Hard-wired relay. Pay an extra $5 for the fun and adventure. #Boom. Problem solved.Mr. Seller, thank you for the great fun in an exciting adventure of basic electrical theory. Enjoy, electronics geeks!

Mis-leading in the ad on Amazon
Wanted a Close on temperature rise, got a close on temperature drop. Wanted Fahrenheit scale, got Celsius scale. Did not use, bought the Inkbird system instead.

Works perfect, simple, elegant
My thermostat stopped powering my furnace but if I touched R1 to W then I got heat. So instead of replacing the board or whatever was broken I bought this thing, will buy me the time I need until I install a heat pump. Cycles the furnace on and off perfectly
