Another win from Rhodia
This thing is massive. 16.5x12.5 inches ended up being bigger than I had pictured, but despite being huge the quality was still what I have come to expect from Rhodia. The dot patterns were printed evenly and uniformly and the paper is the same quality that's in the pads 1/4 this size. It's a fantastic deal for just over $14. I got this because I needed a lot of Rhodia paper to make small notebooks, and this giant pad was the best deal. I just had to fold the sheets into fourths and cut off the edges to make it neat.I love Rhodia dot pads because the dot patterns are light and subtle and the paper resists ghosting and bleeding, so it's perfect for hand lettering or doodling.

Sometimes, more is more.
Like all Rhodia paper products, the vast and expansive No 38 dotpad is manufactured with precision and quality. Six giant staples, robust backing cardboard, and the water-resistant plasticized cover make this a sturdy pad in which to sketch, draft, or plan your most grandiose ideas. The only problem (if indeed it is a problem) would be that if you intended to carry the No. 38 around, the monolithic dimensions may have you struggling to fit it in the average messenger bag/backpack/laptop bag; the width and height are roughly the same as the interior of the briefcase of yesteryear. Pictured here is the No 38 in an antique Zero Halliburton briefcase (it fits, if only just), along with a No. 16, a No. 12, and a No. 8., for scale.Couldn’t be happier with this, will be buying another one eventually.

A luxury pad for illustrators, designers, note-takers, engineers... you don't know how nice it is until you use it
A pad this big is a serious commitment on your desk, but it becomes really freeing when you write on it. Taking notes, keeping track of a project, drawing diagrams or other illustrations, all become accessible without feeling cramped by the page boundary. This is the pen and paper equivalent of a huge, beautiful monitor. The paper quality is excellent and works well with a large variety of writing implements including ink-heavy fountain pens and markers. The dot grid is a great way to have the paper function interchangeably as graph, lined, or free-form blank paper. This pad immediately became and essential element on my work desk, and I don't mind moving things around to accommodate it.

Love this pad
I love this pad. It's really hard for me to find a notebook or notepad that I actually like and most of the time I don't end up using them, but Rhodia's dot pads are so perfect that I find myself using them daily for every purpose. In addition to the A3+ pad, I also have an A4+ and an A5.The paper is high quality and thick. I've never had a problem with ink bleeding through the page. The dots are visible enough for writing or making straight lines, but light enough that they're non-intrusive if you want to draw. I can't see myself buying any other type of notebook or notepad. When I use all the pages, I'm planning to just buy another one of these.

Fabulous paper, great size pad
This paper is a dream to write on. Smooth, but grippy enough to provide just the right amount of resistance. The dots are lined up evenly on the page which is satisfying for my perfectionism. Makes me crazy when the dots are wonky. I got this giant pad so I could cut the pages down for a journal. Each page from the pad makes four journal pages. The actual size of the pages (after tearing out of the pad) is a hair under 11.75" x a hair over 16.5". There is minor ghosting using Staedtler pens, but it's not bad - better than Moleskine. I love this giant pad.

Love this... for a desk
This is a LARGE and kind of heavy pad of quality grid paper.I use it often to brainstorm and draw out draft flows on this before making something digital. The massive size is awesome, but I do need to clear my desk of keyboard mouse to give myself room. I like the size because it is kind of immersive and helps me really focus on the work. I don’t use it every day, but grab it when I need it. The folding back cover works nice, but when bringing the cover back to the front it does look a bit sloppy after awhile.

Use it all the time!
I use mine all the time! I don’t like dry erase boards and found this to be the perfect solution. I have done presentation mapping, sermon prep, thought process. and business proposals on it. This is worth your mind and it is just plain enjoyable to write on Rhodia Paper!

Great size for thumbnail sketching and layouts.
It definitely comes in a great size. I chose this pad because I knew I'd be doing a lot of preliminary sketching for graphic design. I like the portability of the 8.5"X11" but have a tendency to use the whole spread. This can be a problem as there is usually a crease down the middle of the book. This pad removes that issue and works incredible well with pencil. But that's about it. I would have liked a slightly thicker paper so that pen and ink, marker, and watercolor don't bleed through so badly. The paper also is not built for really anything other than pencil, charcoal, and chalk pastels, which I did not anticipate it to be, having such a thin paper weight. I'd assume it be highly successful in writing and graphing equations. It fit comfortably in my Incase backpack for my 15" MacBook Pro with all my books and supplies for school. Great pad, just wish the paper was a bit thicker.

Hojas suaves, consistentes, perfecto.

The Perfect Desk Blotter / Doodlepad
This is massive. Let's your creativity flow - or your random psychotic scribbling a in dull telecoms. Excellent Rhodia quality paper is a pleasure to write on. Too good for scribbles. Good value for what you get.

Super bloc note A3
J’adore ! Très pratique ! Idéal pour établir les plans, notes, mind mapping… En plus, les points sont discrets et aide à s’organiser dans l’espace. Les feuilles sont suffisant épaisses pour dessiner, faire de l’aquarelle et de bonne qualité.
