Clear EPG, Internet Connection okay, but will not record programs onto external media
In some respects this is a better receiver for Fransat than the one we first had. EPG is clear. The internet connection via Ethernet port or wireless, to a VPN, connects easily. The unit does not record however. I have tried a USB connected hard drive formatted before use, a USB memory stick, and an unformated USB connected hard drive that I have instructed this receiver to format. None of these media will format correctly, be recognised, or be recorded to. What is even worse is that despite our purchasing this in 2001, the 4 year PC6 Fransat card that came with it expired after 1 year!
