Review: Still decent, but brought down by the creepy teacher - I really liked the first volume of Classmates. It was sweet, the art was interesting, and I enjoyed the chemistry between the characters. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the teacher character, who comes on too strong for me. Unfortunately, this book has more of a focus on the teacher, if anything. He has doubled down on his predatory behaviour towards Saju, and while some people might be fine with that it didn't really sit well with me and left me with a bad taste in my mouth after reading what is usually a sweet, sensitive manga. Outside of that issue the plot of this book is interesting in the way that it tests the two protagonists' relationship with each other, but the teacher stuff took up too much of the runtime for me.

I really liked the first volume of Classmates. It was sweet, the art was interesting, and I enjoyed the chemistry between the characters.
