Slow to start wotking
Curiously I ordered two, one seems to work, yet the other isn;t working so well! Can;t understand that, as they are in similar positions......The one that is working took almost a week before the flies were attracted to it, but, once they were it has been fantastic, and is doing the job very well. It doesn’t smell so offensively as another well-known make (which costs a lot more money) - so that is a bonus too. So, it is a good buy, but does take a few days to start to work.....hoping that the second one starts working soon

LOCATION OF FLY TRAP
Excellent fly trap which I buy every year now. Have recommended to a number of people who have purchased as well with good results.Recommend the location be at least 30 metres from your house in a discreet place as not a pretty sight to look at. Highly effective, just do not overfill with added water to keep the scent strong. End of the fly season on your bonfire and gone. Reduced flies in our house down almost to only the occasional one.

works but only after a while
had a few of these now and filled four, they work very well but they do take a while to start working 7 to 10 days in my experience. but they do work very wellMy only gripe is with Amazon as when clicking buy again the suppliers change and in some cases so as the bait inside which sometimes does not seam as good as the first ones I purchased !!

A* at doing the job
We have used many of these traps over the years due to their effectiveness. We catch millions of flies which keep them well away from the house. It does tend to have a very unpleasant odour as it fills but if it is situated far enough away from the house as instructed, this is not a problem. We would definatly recommend for those with a good size garden.

They do a great job!
These have been hanging in the garden for months now and have caught a very large number of insects. Oddly the first ones in were wasps but then the flies came and then the large carrion beetles (these have not dies but just been stuck in there for weeks, no doubt feeding on the dead flies). The traps stink, but that’s how they attract the flies, just make sure that you can hang them far enough away from the house!

Must have for anyone with fly issues - very effective
Love the star review for sent ! These always smell like something has died in them ( which is the pint, right?!) - but 10/10 for effectiveness.I have chickens and with chickens come flys so we use these every summer , replacing the unit every month. Never ceases to amaze the sheer volume of flies it catches. Excellent thing.

Love these! We have 4 in the garden and they have caught thousands of flies! It's really satisfying seeing it fill up.They do have an odour so not put next to a window or swing.I must be getting less in the house but living on a farm is a test for any fly catcher!Great product
