My boyfriend and I needed desks that would hold all of our stuff as well as fit comfortably in our apartment. We ordered 2 of these. They are exactly what we needed! :)We ordered 2 used desks, and not a single thing was wrong with them. (Someone probably just didnt like the style, if I had to guess.) All of the pieces were included, nothing was damaged, and the instructions were easy to follow! The only annoying part was dealing with the little styrofoam bits, but those come with just about any package. You may want to have a vacuum nearby once you finish sorting all of the pieces. I wiped each piece down, too, so that they were clean and free of stray styrofoam pieces.I've included photos of the desk after it's put together. The desk and bookshelf were easy to assemble (I did so alone.) I ended up switching to an electric drill about halfway through putting the first desk together. There was one screw that just would not budge when I used the handheld screwdriver. (I think the hole was too small or something.) The drill pushed it through without any issues, though. After that, I continued using the drill to avoid any similar issues and to ensure all pieces were held together tight. I definitely recommend using an electric drill over the handheld tool that comes with the desk. It does work, but the drill makes assembly a lot easier.I strongly suggest testing the stability of both the desk and the bookshelf on a flat surface (i.e. wood floor) after you have the base of each put together. I found that slight adjustments of the metal frame pieces can change whether you have a sturdy desk or one that wobbles. Ours were very sturdy once some minor adjustments were made.I've included photos of our "battle station" (to help give an idea of how much space these have to offer.) The desk and bookshelf can be attached or kept separate, which was another thing I love about these desks! We ended up placing the bookshelves behind the desks, then we set the the desks where they face each other. This does make it difficult to access the bottom 2 levels of the bookshelf because of the metal "X" on the back of the desk (as shown in the picture above.) However, this allowed for more stability since one desk supports the other and vice versa. It also allowed us to keep the desks away from the walls.I took pictures while measuring the little platform in case anyone was wondering if their laptop would fit underneath it. The platform itself does not attach to the desk. It just sets on top. I like this feature, because we ended up using ours around the house (like little shelves.) It can be flipped sideways and still fit on the desk, too.

It's a good looking and solid desk.I'm single and my living room is more like my gaming/home studio room. I bought one of these to see how well it fit under my wall mounted TV. It is a perfect fit and I'm going to buy a second and attach the two together leaving the shelves on either side. There are already holes so I will only need to buy 4 long bolts and nuts.The open front face of the shelves is perfect for my audio interface, the top shelves will be good for the sensors of my Oculus Rift. I have cats that like to climb on everything so these shelves will be a good line of defense against stuff getting knocked over all the time.

This is a very sturdy design. All metal structure with wood panel shelving and desktop. Reinforcing bars crisscross the back of the shelving unit preventing any sway.Set up was not difficult, The bolts and screws were in individually labeled packets along with a separate packet for spares; that was really good, and we did not require any of the spares.this is the best little desk/bookcase set. the desk is small enough to fit into almost any room. you can put the shelves on the right or on the left depend on where you put the desk. those four shelves make us easy to settle my all in one printer，books and other electronic devices . it look very smart！ we are extremely happy with this desk set！

First, weight. It’s very heavy. The wood and metal are heavy which means good quality and durable. Each component has number labels. It’s easy to assemble as the instruction.Second, height. The height is perfect for children and adults. The book shelf part has 6 layers. The highest level is also not hard to reach.Third, design. There are many desk + book shelf on Amazon. This one can be used in multiple ways. The book shelf could be used separately or assembled on either side of the desk. This is a plus in my opinion. The computer station could be removed too to have more space on the desk.Overall, I like my new desk.

This desk works perfectly for school! I have enough space for both my laptop and notebooks textbooks. There's enough storage for my books and writing utensils so I can have a clean desk. This is a perfect choice for student like me live in a rental apartment

Great, sturdy desk for a reasonable price. I was looking for something inexpensive and simple for my part-time computer job. I need to use a computer with a hard drive tower, which fit perfectly and looks nice on the bottom shelf. I have plenty of room on the desk, even with the screen and keyboard on it. It was easy and didn't take too long to put together by myself. Shipping was extremely fast.I am very happy with both my purchases and will definitely consider ordering from Amazon again.

Was able to assemble by myself in less than 2 hours. However the directions arent clear and you have to look through the entire packet to see how to attach things so that later they are turned the right way to continue assembling. Just double check future instructions before screwing anything to avoid having to un and rescrew just to align holes. Looks pretty good and a pretty decent size for the cost. Design flaws like holes where they arent even used and screws facing up/out; makes it look less sleek/cheaper. But worth it for the price in my opinion.

The computer desk I used was old-fashioned, too big and too full of space to use, so now I've replaced it. this Computer Desk with Shelves, Multipurpose Study Desk with Bookshelf, Writing Desk with 4 Tier Bookcase The installation was easy and fast, and I did it in half an hour by myself, and there was asve alot space in the room and i can put other stuff on the shelves and bookcase.
