Good Grading or Matking Pencil
I purchased these pencils for marking a document. Such a marked document can be photocopied without the markings showing. These have worked well for that purpose. They were definitely a good value for the money. I imagine they would work well for grading. These are not artist pencils: they are grading and marking pencils. If that is what you need, these are a good buy. Delivered on time as stated.

These are hard to find by me and when you do find them they are crazy expensive!!! So glad I got these at such a great price

Full of surprises for a red pencil
I love these for red shading in my art. They are nice and soft, more pliable than regular colored pencils. I get the smoothness of a pastel without the commitment. These blend so nicely, but still give you a sharp point, just need to be sharpened often. Doesn't really erase, but it can be lightened and drawn over. Nice strawberry red too, much more preferable than an aggressive primary red. A more muted tone.

Good price, good red pencils .. no breakage problems ..
I use red pencils for highlighting, marking documents. In the past, I usually buy Sanford Carmine-Red, which were quite good. Did that for some 30 years.I had bought a lot, and seems like the old pencils I had stored for several years .. the red color material had dried up or something, so the color no longer transfers to document so well. These Sanford pencils are not cheap.I tried this INTEGRA brand. It was relatively cheap, and had Free Returns - in case I did not like it.Turns out pretty good. I don't find any problems with sharpening them. No breakage etc. JUST ORDERED another two dozens .. so I don't have to think about buying again for a while. // I paid $2.88 for 1 dozen, which is hard to beat. // It is quite true that the red color of these Integra pencils do not erase well with a regular eraser. For me that is not a big problem. I think it is difficult to have good strong red marking and yet be able to erase off well.

Try them out!!!
I bought the pencils for sketching, drawing and practicing my handwriting and I gotta say they are amazing. The Lead is soft so it’s smoother to write and draw. If your looking for a hard pencil, this is absolutely not it. I will be purchasing more soon.

Good for Sketching Artwork
I use these pencils all the time. I use them to sketch my artwork before inking, and it works perfectly for what I use it for. Its an amazing value for the price.
