My old alarm clock was starting to crap out, but to be fair, I've had that one for 17 years! This one is really nice. The front screen is huge and you can adjust the brightness very easily. The snooze button is HUGE! I love option for the soothing colored lights on the top. All of your controls are on the back, which for me will take some getting used to. I'm used to pushing a button on the top to turn on the alarm or set the time. It has 2 USB charging ports on the back. I'm not a huge fan of the alarm sound itself, but again, something I'll have to get used to. I do wish the alarm started soft and gradually got louder, but it's one level of sound.
