solid stout drop shank to carry our 21ft travel trailer with. we have a 2012 Yukon and a 2017 hideout travel trailer for size reference, our basic drop wasn't enough of a drop from how high the Yukon sits up to level out the trailer for safety towing...we probably could have gotten away with a 6" drop but I wanted to make sure we would be good for get go and the 8" did the job great. so far we have cleared everything we have gone over from speed bumps to driving over curbs.

Exactly what I needed. I like that the ratings are now stamped into the hitch. Thats important to those who understand the importance of weight ratings and capacities and safety, unfortunately when it comes to pulling trailers most the world has no business doing it.

The first one never made it to my address but was lost. After waiting additional time I got a refund and ordered another one. It made it in good time and looks to be of the same quality as the too short original one.

This was listed as 600 lbs - 1,000 lbs tongue weight. When I received it, it was stamped 1400 lbs tongue weight, 14,000 lbs gross trailer weight. This was a greatly unexpected bonus! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the packaging. It came just wrapped in plastic shrink wrap and no box. The plastic was torn in several places leaving the paint scratched up where it was torn.

I am using this ex tension on my toyota tacoma (3rd gen) with an e2 weight distribution and sway control system. Works great.

Produce met description, but I ordered the wrong item. Working with the seller to return was a joke. of my $160 spent I got refunded $68. Should have kept the product and resold it myself. Beware of this seller.
