PlayStation 2 Slim Console PS2 (Renewed)

Recently bought Barn Yard and Baldurs Gate for ps2 so this was a quick nice alternative to paying a couple hundred in store. Didnt register disc at first but took two seconds to fix that problem. No scratches on discs and runs great so far, only used twice now but have high hopes.

It "SUCKED", did not work for more than a day and scratched my Madden 2003 to pieces. This is the 2nd console I had purchased, same thing happened with the first on I had bought. Lost my Medal of Honor game with that one🫩 Will never buy anything else from this company. So disappointed...did not return the 2nd purchase, just threw it in the trash.

AMAZON and the Renewal Company ROCK 30 games should be embarrassed for allowing this PS2 to leave their doors and be shipped out.If customers are paying $200 plus dollars for this, you should at least clean the system out of the nasty brown mold that is inside. (Photos of disc tray)That is probably skin cells from the last owners that have been sitting there for the past 10 years. I can’t imagine what the inside looks like.On top of that the system that I received has a issue with possibility the disc tray or disc reader that is not allowing the system to properly read the disc that is causing the system to freeze and music skips. I tested the system out on several games for a couple hours and they all the same issues. I even went as far as to test my discs on another friends system and the discs work fine. So it’s the system and was not probably renewed.I’m working now to get a replacement or refund so I can have it properly repaired and clean out like it should have been.I hate writing reviews like this but man the renewal company should of never let this be sent out like this what a terrible experience

The ps2 console works really well it’s the controller that got me puzzled. It’s not the official ps2 controller. It works good but the DualShock feature keeps going off constantly and it bothers me so. Other than that I love it. Also I do recommend getting the official ps2 controller with it for the classic feel

I've always been a loyal PlayStation user, ever since the original PS-1. The PS2, when it came out had some excellent and well done titles, Gran Turismo 4, Star Wars Jedi Power battles, the Lord of the Rings games based on the movies that had come out around the time the console was introduced. For the time, and the console, these offerings were very good. I also found some rarer titles that were just as entertaining. It's a good console that packs a lot in for what it is. Some of the graphics hold up well even today. I was lucky to find one in good condition. Thank you to the company and people who sold this to me.

Didn’t last long at all. The CD tray stopped reading disks after maybe 2-3 days and hasn’t really worked since
