Just a wheel type switch on cord to turn on and off. **Q: What Is It Made Out Of?** A: It appears to be made of clay, giving the appearance of the cookie dough. It is painted, then baked in a kiln and then decorated with glitters and such. It is very sturdy. I’m no expert but the product has to be able to withstand the heat from the bulb. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Adorable Glowing Gingerbread House *by S***A on January 8, 2024* I love the details on this gingerbread house from the half peppermints lining the roof to the cute little snowman and swirly forward tree with a candy lined pathway in the front to the candy cane window frames all around.
