My grandson reads them and finds them funny.

This book was recommended to me by child’s 1st grade teacher as a good starting chapter book. It was very entertaining and my son loved it. It was a little complex for him, but with me to help he was successful.

This book really kept my attention and made me laugh... i love the interplay between the text and the comics - very clever! This will definitely be a favorite gift to give to elementary children! .... i look forward with excited anticipation to the next Monkey Me book!!!

An awesome funny book! My son and I read this book and couldn't put it down. A great bedtime story book as well. This is a chapter book but the chapters are not long.

My son liked the comic strips peppered into this story. I felt the story-line was a bit juvenile, even for him (he's 6). We LOVE the Scholastic Branches brand. This one is just OK, though. A boy gets a magic stone that turns him into a monkey who makes mischief. It's cute, although not very memorable.

Perfect little adventure for children just starting to read chapter books. My six year old really enjoys the "Monkey Me" books.

My kids love these books. I especially like how some chapters are done comic book style. Perfect balance of pictures and text for young readers.

my 7 year old loves these books...sort of like a giant comic book at times. Very entertaining for a boy instead of girlie books like Junie B Jones.

My 7 year old loved this book. He picked it up one Saturday morning, came to see me about an hour later and was very excited about how good this book was. He told me about the story and is looking forward to reading the next three.

Gets reluctant readers "sucked in" with cute illustrations and fairly predictable language. I really like the Branches Books for kids who don't want to read.
