Exfoliates well
Used it for the first time and ouch. Yes I soaked it in warm/hot water. Hopefully it gets softer in time. I like how you can cut it to how big or small you want it. Update: eventually it softened a bit so it doesnt hurt anymore. I love it.

It’s versatile!
I got this to use as a natural back scrubber. So that it would cover more surface area, I decided to split it apart, thereby making it into a wider piece. Big mistake. After just a few uses, it started wearing out. Now I use it for drainage in my flower pots.
