Back button works on FireTV Stick, down to one remote!!
We have had the Inteset remotes for years, and love them! We decided to get FireTV Sticks because they work better for Amazon Prime Video and NetFlix than our Smart TVs. But, we were disappointed that the Firestick remotws are not IR, so universal remotes can't control all of the choices. I don't understand why the IR remotes can control up down and play, but they definitely don't work for back, which is essential to be able to replace the firestick remote. This IR device allows full control and complete replacement of the firestick remote, including the back button! We like to have 2 remotes, one for me, one for my hubby, so we got the new IR adapter and remote together. First world problems solved!

Not user friendly; no help available
After much research, this remote seemed like the perfect solution, but it did not work consistently. It was not intuitive and I struggled to easily move between inputs (cable, Firestick and DVD). The instructions were easy to follow as far as setting it up, but not how to use it once the configurations were complete. I could not find a customer service phone number, and the help forums were all dead links. I had to return this item.

One Remote for TV and Fire Stick
Setup for the IR receiver was very simple. Receiver seems to have adhesive at the bottom so you can stick it where you want, though I'm not using the yet. I am pretty technically inclined so your mileage may vary, but I found the remote very easy to program. Only took about 30 minutes to get the TV and the Fire Stick set up. You can easily lock certain functions, like volume control, channel control, and the power button, to a single device. The only problem I have is that sometimes there seems to be some lag with the IR receiver. It won't respond for a bit, then it will process every button press all at once. This is a minor annoyance, I'd rather deal with this than multiple remotes.
