Wow I’m so glad I spent a Whole $5+ dollars on this (FYI that’s not Sarcasm)It comes with multiple sized attachments bolts for universal fit. Obviously something might not make the cut but it’s worth trying for $5.I hooked this on and trimmed my yard it’s not very big but it’s decent sized so I need the trimmer to work well and it definitely does now with this baby on. I’ve only used it one time but I live in Florida so it’s gonna get used if this never breaks the review will stay the same but will post if I ever have any problems.Update: I moved to a home with a much bigger yard and this thing is still holding up I’m so glad I bought this

The product is just what I needed for my weed eater.Loading the trim line is so much easier than the old traditional way.I highly recommend this product.

I got this for only $5 shipped so I did not return it but this did not come with the right bolt to fit on a stihl FS-40 CE. I had to use another bolt that I had on hand because the original trimmer head bolt wouldn't fit into the hole of the head. However, even though it did not fit my model out of the box it is really easy to load and actually works so I give it 4 stars.

Bought the #17216 trimmer head from Amazon on 8 March, 2020. I use a blade type edger on my walks and drives. Our summer tends toward dry, so I used the string trimmer maybe once a month since purchase. Got excellent use from the Shakespeare head....until last week, 20 Aug, 2020 when the "tap and go head" was tapped, separated, and WENT! Not seen it since and can't use the trimmer any more. Five stars originally--zero now. Two negative reviews had mentioned the same issue. I ignored them--my error. I now consider the 17216 trimmer head a throw away item, good for a while perhaps very briefly, or maybe a wee bit longer, but absolutely not for the long run. I'm back to looking for a better device again.

These were new trimmer heads for half the price. Fit my trimmer perfectly. It accomodates many brands.

Bit complicated installing from the directions

The string is a little hard to get started through the hole once you get it started through it winds up easy

I should have read the reviews before purchasing, as I would not have bought this piece of junk. Like many others, the end cap of the "bumper" came off after just a couple hours of use. What a waste of money!
