Poking those little guys into the cheese and pulling them out is just so calming. I saw this at a conference on trauma and had to have one. I teach a high school SLD/ED special ed resource room and you would not believe how positively my kids respond to these guys--just stretching the sloths can calm a person down. As far as I know he had never seen this product but it seemed like the most likely candidate. I chose this set (two pack of mice/cheese and sloth/tree) because sloths are also a favorite here. So far it has been a hit! While it seems these are popular for children with sensory needs, it is really a nice little portable, low tech activity to engage little fingers in motor coordination. The figures are cute with well rendered features. They are made of a very slightly tacky rubbery material; it will pick up a bit of dirt/dust but not like the "stick to the wall"/slime type of toys. Should be easy to rinse off every now and then. I don't suspect it would hold up well to super rough handling, but you don't need to be too rough to get the little mice in and out.
