Amazon Warehouse sold as "Very Good" with pendulum broken and damage to each leg
Never used Amazon Warehouse before. I was told they are very good at inspecting the products and noting the condition correctly. I bought this clock as "Very Good" with the only noted damage being to the packaging. It arrived with the pendulum mechanism broken into several pieces and a very visible gouge out of each of the three legs. Very disappointed. Amazon has not replied to any of my emails. I will never again buy from Amazon Warehouse. Their rating system is inaccurate. Their quality control is terrible. Their customer service is non-existent. (We are unable to return the product due to on-shipping via a freight forwarder. Which is why I was so worried about buying a returned product from Amazon Warehouse, but everyone I spoke to raved that Amazon Warehouse has fantastic quality control and a very reliable rating system. Not true. Don't trust them.)

Some of the metal parts on the back of the clock are not as substantial as I would have hoped, and the mechanism looks rather cheap; especially at these prices. That said, it is a handsome piece that receives many compliments. I just wouldn't call it heirloom quality piece, but what is anymore?

Great Grandfather Clock
Bought this clock from a furniture store, list price $1499, Black Friday store had 20% off all merchandise. Took awhile to understand how to set the time so it would play with the correct hour. There are 4 song settings. I have it set to Ava Maria. It plays on the quarter hour and dings on the hour. Sounds great. The sounds turn off at 11p and restart at 545. There are other options for settings. Never thought I would spend this much on a clock, but it was worth it. I enjoy it every day. Everyone who seen the clock liked it. I took a few pictures, not sure why it uploaded sideways, I could not get them turned around. I created a Christmas scene in my home for the holidays. The clock is about 45 pounds. It was easy to set up. No regrets with my purchase.

I bought this at Mueller furniture in MO and I love everything about it. My husband wanted a grandfather clock but it wouldn’t go with our contemporary furniture. The clock looks great in our home and I get a lot of compliments on it
