Bailey, No Ordinary Cat

I stumbled upon Bailey’s Instagram by accident two months prior to his passing. What an absolute lift to my day to see his posts with Abby and Hannah, yes even Claire. (The bathtub photo bomb always wins my heart!). I pre-ordered his book right away, anxiously waiting it’s arrival. What a charming read, and the delightful pictures of him with the girls just captivated by his love for them. I only wish my two children were toddlers again, so I could read this book and share every night before bed. They are 25 & 27 now. However, since they both are cat lovers . . . I will order two more Bailey books and hold on to them for that special day they are ready for them. So quit reading these reviews, you won’t be disappointed! The pictures are awesome, story is precious, and share with you Bailey, No Ordinary Cat. Go see him on Instagram!! This book is perfect for reading to toddlers, young ....and old!!!! Cat lovers, of course! It is a keeper for sure!! Children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, kids .... adults! Loved by any age. Bailey will always win new hearts every Day!!

Very sweet book

Like so many others, I first discovered Bailey during his "You are my sunshine" fame on social media. I then realized he had a following on both Facebook and Instagram, and I became one of his adoring fans. I've been a cat-lover my entire life, and understand the love and happiness a devoted pet can bring to your life. The author's family is so very fortunate that Bailey brought them so much joy, and now we get to share Bailey and his love vicariously through this adorable little book (and through the ongoing social media posts). Set your expectations correctly that this is not a coffee table book; this is a small picture book with photos and captions that are in turn heartwarming and humorous. The spectrum of Bailey's extraordinary personality is on display, and it seems there really wasn't anything this kitty wouldn't do, as long as he was with his family while he did it. What an amazing purrsonality he had! I'll definitely be sharing this book with fellow feline fanatics, as kitty-love like this shouldn't be contained.

My 2 cats and I loved this book and it even made them want to take a cat nap like Bailey. :) Bailey was an incredible kitty with an amazing family who showed him so much love. He was so special and just loved being with his humans no matter what they were up to whether that be bath time, a tea party or eating breakfast at the table. His story truly touched my heart and I cried when I heard of his passing because I felt like I knew him in some way. The love and joy that we receive from our fur babies is real and they really are members of our family. I love seeing Bailey’s photos and all the memories that he shared with his family. This photo book will help him live on in our hearts forever. Any cat or animal lover will love this book.

I loved Bailey, I never met him, but I loved him. The first time I saw Bailey was in a video where his sister Abby was reading to him and the love that he had for her was so prevalent that it bursted through. This book is very precious. It shows Bailey’s life with his family and all that everyone brought to the table to harbor that love for each other. It is not a coffee table book, it is a small book which is great for bringing along with you anywhere to bring some joy to an unpleasant day or just because to see Bailey and his family have some fun. I read to an inner city preschool every week and am going to bring this book just to show some sweet pictures and to get smiles and laughter from the children. I was so saddened by Bailey’s passing, but am thankful that I have a sweet little book that just reminds me of the simple joys in life and how much love and laughter a special kitty can bring.

I found Bailey and his family on Instagram and instantly fell in love with them. When Bailey's mom Erin announced she was writing a book about Bailey, I was so excited. I preordered the book months in advance and it was definitely worth the wait. Orange cats have always been my favorite because of the incredible bond they have with their owners and their pure charisma, and this sweet boy was no different. This book is like a scrapbook of his life with his human family, accompanied by funny and silly captions. When I got the book in the mail, I couldn't wait to read it. It is a quick read and definitely a pick me up if you need to smile. You can't help but fall in love with Bailey and his human siblings, this kitty was definitely no ordinary cat. You can feel the love through the pages. After reading his book, I snuggled my fur babies a little closer and a little harder that night. Orange cats are the best cats. Keep up the great work Erin, you really know how to make people smile. =^..^=

The day Erin went to the pet store was indeed her appointment with destiny! I have a feeling Bailey picked her via some psychic phenomena or something! After reading Erin’s book and following Bailey’s social media accounts it’s very clear to me that Bailey was sent from Heaven to take care of Erin and her family. Bailey was brought into Erin’s life for a reason – to be loved. He just wanted to give love and receive love in return. How lucky this family was to have been able to share 14 wonderful years with his human family. Just like years ago when the man who built the famous history making Motown sound – Berry Gordy co-wrote his song “To Be Loved” – it most definitely is clear that only once in a lifetime does a miracle pet like Bailey come along – what a remarkable and truly extra-extraordinary cat! I recommend anyone who loves cats and pets to buy this book and read it – for themselves, and their children and grandchildren – it teaches what it really means “To Be Loved!” I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it’s delightful.

The love of a cat for his girls leaps from the page and fills your heart with Joy. Bailey truly was ectraordinary - the biggest personality and biggest heart contained in one small body. This book will make you laugh and cry as you see Bailey let Abby and Hannah do anything to and with him, because he loved them and knew they loved him right back. A true character, Bailey is unforgettable to those who never met him but were able to adore him from afar through Erin's wonderful pictures. This book will be loved by kids and adults alike.

Bailey is a sensation. With many followers on Facebook and Instagram it’s a delight to see these captured heart melting and hilarious moments in this book. You cannot help but fall in love with this extraordinary cat, like no other and his memory still lives on in the hearts of his fans and the posted videos on Instagram. This book will bring a smile to everyone’s face and even to any non-cat lovers alike. I am a huge fan of not only Bailey, but this incredible loving family and Erin, the author and supermom!

I don't remember how I first saw Bailey, No Ordinary Cat. But I do know that I'll never forget him and his family. Abby, Hannah, Claire and of course Erin. I started watching Bailey and his family on Facebook. I fell in love with precious Bailey right away. He and Abby, as plain to see had a special bond. Bailey loved his other 3 girls as well. You could see the pure joy on his face and in his body whenever he was with them. Bailey also brought so much love to my life as well. He helps to fill the giant hole in my heart from the loss of my precious kitty family. Mummy-Timba, daughter Talli and son Tigger. Thank you Bailey. And then one day I read that Bailey had passed away. The bawling came from deep within me. 😭 My heart was broken. For my loss and the great loss to Bailey's family. But there was some good news......we could always have Bailey (and his girls) with us. Erin had written a book. Bailey No Ordinary Cat. I, right away ordered the book. LOVE IT. It is always on my bed. I frequently read it before sleep. It helps me not miss my kitties so much. I even named a stuffed kitty that I had Bailey. I hug him a lot. I also follow Bailey on Facebook. I enjoy still seeing him and his girls there. And it helps to make Bailey's book come alive with the videos and photos posted there. Thank you Bailey and family for your beautiful book. I LOVE ❤ it. 😊
