Good tool for visually oriented learners.
Teaching my kid numbers places and basic arithmetic. This is working great for a very visually oriented learner. We pull it out while playing Monopoly or Payday. It's not super sturdy or durable, but you can't beat the price. It won't survive typical play from any young child, but it's not really for play.

Minor quality issues, still a good purchase.
This is indeed, as advertised, a colorful abacus. 🧮 It's build quality is overall good, but there seems to be a defect with mine where they seriously over glued the top rail, so quality control may not be as important to them (but everything else was great), and it was fixed with a quick plastic knife sawing adventure. 😊Does math effectively 🧮/10.

Just as described
Just as described, nice and small. I am using as a daily visual reminder for short sets of exercises. My goal is 10×10 per day of squats, push-ups, different stomach exercises, etc., so each colored bed is for a different exercise and every time I do a set of 10, I slide a bead over!

NOT STURDY - Small Chokable Beads!
Not built well - the rods that hold the beads just pop right out of their sockets and the beads go all over the place. EXTREME choking hazard, the beads are blueberry sized and can be swallowed.

Cheaply made but works ok for the price
I returned the first one I bought. It had a broken bead and one was glued to the side. The replacement had a bead glued to the side too but I was able to pry it apart with a screwdriver.I like the small size.

It is a perfect little abacus
My ASD daughter loves the sensory part of pushing the beads back and forth and loves this abacus. She carries it around like a favorite toy.

Pleasantly Surprised
This is a very well-made abacus for children to learn some basic math skills on. It is well made, the colors are bright, cheerful (and non-toxic) and the wood was well finished. Very much worth the money.
