The lights are battery powered, cool-running, warm white tiny pinpoints of light that have a number of patterns controlled by the included remote control. I bought two sets, each of which respond to either remote control Excellent value and should make holiday decorating beautiful and cheery. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun starburst light *by S***R on November 12, 2018* The cool feature I like about this is remote, which come pretty handy to operate the light. I ordered them for party in my backyard. Its fun it have 8 different modes and its bright too. I think I will order 2 more of these light for Christmas. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not Water proof *by F***N on December 5, 2018* I hate to leave 3 stars, but I'm disappointed. My two lights were hanging on my porch for a week and 1 stopped working. I unscrewed the battery cap and it was wet inside. (wasn't the batteries) The little plastic plug at the top was faulty. It didn't secure the size of the hole when it was plugged, therefore it leaked. I ordered these lights based on 5 star reviews, but guess I took a chance.
