BENFEI Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter, Thunderbolt 2 to HDMI Adapter Compatible for MacBook Air/Pro, Microsoft Surface Pro/Dock, Monitor, Projector[Gold-Plated Connectors& Aluminium Shell]

I picked this up to solve a slightly awkward setup, i.e an older graphics card that only has Mini DisplayPort outputs and I just needed a simple, reliable way to hook it up to an HDMI monitor. Happy to say it worked straight out of the box. No fuss, no drivers, just plug-and-play and I had a clean signal immediately. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it’s been completely stable, no flickering, dropouts, or weird resolution issues. Build quality is better than I expected for the price. The aluminium shell feels solid and the connector fits snugly without feeling like it’s going to loosen over time. The cable itself has a bit of stiffness to it, which I actually prefer as it doesn’t flop around behind the PC. I’m running it at 1080p and it looks crisp and accurate, and there’s no noticeable lag. I can’t speak to higher resolutions personally, but for a standard desktop setup it does exactly what it should. Overall, a simple, reliable adapter that just gets on with the job. If you’ve got older hardware with Mini DisplayPort and need HDMI output, this is an easy recommendation.

Very good adapter and use of money - been using for at least 3 years now. still sturdy

Bought because a Mac Mini HDMI port finally died. Impressed with the build quality - connectors feel solid and the connection is good and tight. Worked straight out of the box. Very happy.

Good

This works well for me on a PC. The cable looks to be very durable and it all looks nicely made, although once fitted they don't get much movement here. The adaptor body gets a little warm but not hot.

World great with my Microsoft Surface Pro 5 to hookup to a TV for D&D

Nice

Works well

Very useful, I was in need of these for very long time!
