Goldilocks level of heat and great depth of flavor
It’s a bit pricy, but it lasts a long time in the fridge ready to use whenever a recipe calls for it. I’m most impressed with the depth of flavor and umami it brings to my cooking and as a dip for meat. I love using it when I make a “Halal Guys” style Chicken and Rice dish or Chicken Shawarma. Not sure how authentic that is, but that’s how I use it and I love it. Worth the price for how long it lasts.

Flavor Crush
This was recommended on a Bon Appétit podcast by Chris Morocco, Dinner SOS. It's exactly as described. It's perfectly balanced with just the right hint of heat and tomato. It is the best Harissa I've tasted and is worth a little splurge.

Product came already opened and leaking
Basically the title, the jar’s seal was broken and the oil was running down the outside of the jar. The lid was on tight so it seems like someone opened it before packaging. Buyer beware.

Enchilada Sauce?
Being from the Southwest, I know the taste of a good red chile enchilada sauce. This would be better served as that rather than a harissa condiment. It has no other flavor than a medium Hatch Red dried chile sauce.

Great line of products
NYShuk products are terrific. They really add a lot to any cooking experience. I have almost the complete line of theirs-spices and sauces.

Excellent depth of flavor
High-quality, flavorful harissa with smoky, slow heat. Vegan-friendly and free of tomatoes. A little goes a long way! I like to add it to a plate of falafel, homemade turnip/beet pickles, tzatziki, hummus, whole-wheat pita, and tahini. It's also good in a stew.

Delicious
One of my favorite flavor enhancers to keep in the fridge. Add a teaspoon to sauces or eggs. Concentrated and potent so you don't need to use a lot. Expensive but lasts me a while.
