Yes, the GUI application can be used via any Remote Desktop tool on Linux.

I need a hub that switches hosts automatically when a second host is plugged in Will this work?

Yes. The USBHub3+ comes with it’s host / upstream-facing port set to Auto-Select mode by default. In this mode, the hub will use the upstream port which has an active/powered USB port connected. If both Up0 and Up1 are connected to active hosts, the hub will prioritize Up0.

Does it require special drivers to use the ui sdk? if so, how stable are they?
