Very thick jacket in my opinion. Would've gotten a Xlarge but that would be too boxy, so I stuck with a Large and this jacket fit comfortably, with some possible room for layering underneath in the future. The jacket feels heavy and warm enough itself. I've also noticed past reviews mention the zipper being on the left, but mine was on the right side, which generally is correct for males. This must've been patched, no pun intended. The quality feels and looks good. The metal buttons and zippers add to the weight of the jacket with its 7 pockets.

I HAVE TO SAY, THIS IS ONE REALLY NICE LOOKING JACKET! I'M EXTREMELY SURPRISED JUST HOW WELL MADE AND COMFORTABLE IT IS. FOR THE PRICE I EXPECTED FAR LESS. I LOOKED IT OVER AND THE SEWING IS VERY GOOD, SEAMS ARE STRAIGHT, THE CUFFS AND WAIST BAND ARE ALL TOP NOTCH. THE FIT IS SPOT ON. A LOT OF TIMES THE ACTUAL SIZE OF JACKETS SOLD (HERE), RUN POSSIBLY 2 / 21/2 INCHES SMALLER. BUT I WEAR A SIZE XXL AMERICAN MADE JACKET AND THIS SIZE XXL FITS ME JUST FINE!! THE ARM LENGTH OF THE SLEEVES ARE QUITE LONG. AND, THE OVERALL LENGTH OF THE JACKET HANGS RIGHT AT MY WAIST. THE ZIPPERED POCKETS ACTUALLY ARE WORKING POCKETS! THE AREN'T DEEP, BUT COULD HOLD A KEY FOB OR SOME SCREWS OR NAILS IF YOU'RE PIDDLING WITH A WEEKEND PROJECT OUTSIDE. BACK TO THE ZIPPER UPPER ISSUE YOU MIGHT'VE READ ABOUT IN OTHER REVIEWS. THE LEFT SIDE ZIPPER IS NOT A MALE / FEMALE THING OR A LEFT-HANDED/ RIGHT HANDED THING EITHER. IT'S A EUROPEAN / ASIAN VERSUS NORTH AMERICAN THING!!! ON OUR SIDE OF THE BIG PONDS THE SLIDER ( OR PIN ) PRETTY MUCH HAS BEEN UNIVERSALLY PUT ON THE RIGHT SIDE ( THESE DAYS, BOTH MEN AND WOMEN ). BUT, OVERSEAS, IT'S THE OPPOSITE, THE SLIDER GOES ON THE LEFT SIDE. THE THING WITH THESE JACKETS IS THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAD DESIGNED AND BUILT THESE JACKETS FOR AN OVERSEAS SALES DESTINATION. HOWEVER, THEY PROBABLY SAW AN OPPORTUNITY TO SELL TO THE AMERICAN MARKET AND HAVE SINCE STARTED TO SELL HERE. ALSO, THEY PROBABLY SAW NO ADDED VALUE TO MAKE BOTH LH AND RH ZIPPERS. SO, IF YOU WANT ONE OF THESE JACKETS, YOU DEAL WITH THE ZIPPER. I TELL YOU, ONCE YOU ZIP IT UP, NO ONE ELSE WILL KNOW BUT YOU .???? THE COLOR OF THIS GREY JACKET IS PERFECT THE MAIN POCKETS ARE PLENTY DEEP ENOUGH AND THERE'S AN INSIDE POCKET ON THE WEARERS LEFT SIDE. Quite roomy for a 2xl I normally wear a 3 or 4xl because of my stomach but I really liked the design of this jacket and the fact the exterior is 100% cotton, although I wish all of it was 100% cotton. The interior is the typical smooth polyester lining which I hate but I was planning on changing the lining anyway because I want a flannel lined jacket. The exterior feels really nice it's warm and on the heavy side like a heavy cargo pant almost. The cuffs feel really nice. Although for me the bicep part of the jacket was a tad snug and my arms can usually fit 2xl sleeves with ease. Overall I really like this jacket and how it feels I think it's comfortable to wear personally. The stitches are quite clean and straight the jacket is assembled well too.

I bought this jacket and it exceeded my expectations. The material is lightweight but still feels durable, perfect for everyday use or cooler weather. I really liked the multiple pockets—they’re practical and a good size. The fit is comfortable and looks great, not too tight or too loose. The design is also modern and goes well with almost anything. Overall, great value for the price. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a good quality jacket and is well worth the $56 I paid for it. Pros: It appears to be well stitched with a good quality metal zipper that zips all the way to the top of the collar. The waist, neck and wrist cuffs are very elastic and wide so there are no tight spots around my wrist. I'm 5' 11" and 155 pounds and ordered a medium. This jacket fits perfectly. It's definitely full length in the torso with longer than normal sleeve length. I know this because I have trouble wearing off-the rack long sleeve shirts due to having long arms. The cuffs come all the way down to the heel of my hand. The fit across my chest and stomach is perfect. The style is kind of quasi-military with epulets on the shoulders. The jacket blocks the wind and between the thin liner and the outer shell, it's reasonably warm on a spring or fall day. The warmth and fit are important because I ride my motorcycle wearing it and a loose fit, short sleeves, or thin material won't keep my chest warm at 70 mph. So far it works well when I'm riding on a cool day. The zipper has a button-down flap covering it to keep wind and water from entering through the zipper itself. Cons: I don't know if it's waterproof or not. It doesn't look to be treated with anything on the outer shell and the stitching doesn't shou waterproof to me. The zipper pull is "on the wrong side" but I got used to it pretty quickly. Overall, it appears some care was taken during the design and production of this jacket. It's an outstanding product for the price in my opinion.

You want to know how this fits, I'm sure. You will like this jacket. I bought a Large, Black. I am an even six feet tall, 195 lbs, with a slight pot belly common to men my age. This jacket is a perfect fit, though it would probably fit someone six feet, one inch just as well. This is not a slim fit like a lot of clothing is these days. If you have a bulge on your midsection, this will fit, I promise. There is room for a belly bigger than mine. I have a couple lightweight shirt-jackets, similar to an Army BDU shirt, for slightly cool weather. I have several coats for deep winter weather. The weight of this jacket is perfect for in-between weather. 40 to 50 degrees. Maybe up to 60 degrees, depending how acclimatized you are. I looooove pockets, and this jacket has pockets galore, and a lot of thought was put into them. The two waist pockets have snap closures, something you don't see often. There are four breast pockets. They are not decoration. Two have snaps, two have zippers. The zipper pockets are deeper than the snap pockets. The snap pockets are shallow. I used a pair of reading glasses to measure the depth. The snap pockets are too shallow for glasses, but the zipper pockets are more than deep enough for a pair of glasses. And then there is an interior pocket on the left side large enough and deep enough for even the biggest cell phone. This jacket has elastic cuffs, which makes it that much more of an in-between weather jacket. The jacket closes with a zipper, and has two snaps at the top and two at the bottom. Finally, the style of this jacket is different from any other I have owned. It's pretty cool looking. When I find an article of clothing I like, I buy several, and I am going to buy a bunch more of these.

I like the jacket but doesn't seem new. Like a repackaged return. Does not smell new or feel new. I'm not sure if I will return it. I am very busy. It fits me very well though. Stretches nicely and seems like it would be warm. It is not by any means light weight so I really hate that it says that. I live in LA. This jacket has to weigh several lbs. Its also very bulky so not practical for travel. Again its a nice jacket. Suitable for 50-70 degree weather but only if you are the type that runs cold. I bought it for my trip to NY so we will see how it goes. I'm thinking it will be too warm. Also with this weight I doubt I'll get much use for it in LA since its mostly warm here. They need a much lighter version of this jacket and I would buy it. 3 Stars due to condition it arrived in and the heavy bulky weight I was not expecting.

I'm always hesitant to buy clothes online -- jackets, in particular. I'm 6' tall, weigh 166 lbs., and have long arms. The design of this particular jacket is particularly appealing to me, but I was concerned about the fit and in no way wanted to undertake the onerous task of sending back something with sleeves too short or waist too tight. I read several of the reviews, including one in which the reviewer reported a height and weight similar to mine, but gave no indication of sleeve length; he was very satisfied with his choice of a Medium. I wavered, still uncertain. But it struck me (or I read somewhere onsite) that it's best to choose the size you usually wear -- in my case, that's a Large. So, hoping I wasn't wasting my money, I placed the order. The jacket arrived promptly, in a vacuum-sealed bag. All I can say now, is WOW. Beautiful design, no flaws, no smell. Perfect fit. Comfortable to wear by itself, or with a sweater or sweatshirt beneath. Everything works. This jacket is magnificent. Update, 6 November 2025. Just received my second bomber jacket, this time an XL. While the L fit me well, it didn’t afford me the space to wear sweaters or sweatshirt underneath, for use as the weather grows colder. This time I bought black, better suited to wear with mixed garb. Once again I’m delighted with the excellent design and flawless workmanship. Jacket came well-packaged, vacuum-sealed, no smell, and arrived promptly. Very pleased.

I purchased this jacket in May 2024 just before the two coldest months in Australia being June and July to wear when riding my motorcycle. It is now my go to jacket whenever the temperature drops to near zero Celsius because whilst the cold wind still cuts through my motorcycle gloves; it is impervious to this jacket. Whilst a blessing for me as it means I can't absent-mindedly put things in the zipper pockets due to them being non-functional; I could well imagine this being a major detraction if worn for other purposes. After twelve months constant use; it still looks brand new.

This was a great Buy. The quality and construction of the jacket is very, very good. I chose it because I like the look of it, and I was hoping that it would not be too thick and warm. I plan to wear it in the summer when driving my convertible, to stop the backdraft. My wife makes her own clothes sometimes, and knows quite a bit about sewing and stitching. She said the stitching and the assembly of the jacket was very well done. I don't know about the others, but mine was perfect. I found the price very reasonable also for the quality of the jacket, and the workmanship in it. I'm 5' 10" and 195 lbs. Amazon said I should choose the extra large. It's okay... just a little bit large though. But when it's washed for the first time it should shrink up a bit. Also I intend to wear it in the late fall and put maybe a sweater underneath it or something. Again it's a very good purchase for the price.
