Easy to put together, you will need wood glue once you have done the dry run of how it goes together. You can stick magnetic sheets to both sides of the drawers for your cutting dies and decorate it as you wish. You will be able to store more than you realise. I found the top row harder to pull out so a little sanding down will correct this easily. Easy way to store your dies without damage. Seriously considering buying a second one. At no point was I having to balance various pieces together in order to build it. With other pieces, I have felt as though I needed 8 arms to complete it, but this one fit together easily. Just make sure you have good quality wood glue. The drawers slide out well, apart from the top and the bottom one. I think I'm going to sand them back as they are a little stiff. I lined the drawers with magnetic sheets. It's so easy to just slide one out and take it to my workbench. My die-cutting has been transformed. I was storing them all in folders before; this is so much easier. Hubby had to sand the top and bottom shelves of all the three units that I bought. As to how easily the shelves slide, the shelves are fine but makes the difference is how high up or low down to your body the unit is and your angle of reach e.g. high up and it's tricky pulling out horizontally with a totally smooth action - silly but if affects how you view "easy". **Q: What glue would i use to asseble this.
