After trying MANY brands this is the best “Drop Tune” set I’ve tried
I wanted to setup my Les Paul for Drop C tuning (which is not that easy) and almost every brand I tried couldn’t cut it. I tried these in 2 different gauges and the thickest gauge worked best for the scale length of my guitar. They kept tune very well and surprisingly also played/sounded really good which I honestly was not expecting.If you are looking to tune low then save yourself time/money by purchasing these because I did the testing and these are the only strings you need to try.

Excellent Strings
I put these on my new ESP/LTD black metal M series guitar. Once installed I tuned to B standard to check playability. After setting the truss rod and the floyd rose spring tension, this gauge is proving ideal for my 25.5" scale guitar. At this tuning the strings are little flexible, but they sound great so I'm staying at this tuning. I had guessed C standard would be the lowest, but B standard sounds great. These are the only strings I'll ever be putting on this guitar. Been using Dunlop guitar and bass strings for about the past 10 years. Great quality, tone and price.

Great strings for down tuning
These are remarkable as far as drop tuning. Other strings I used got that rubber band syndrome and refuse to hold enough tension to prevent it.
