However, an even better set for a Flamenco guitar would be the Sevilla Medium tension - clear basses, nice separation of chord tones, and snappy but sweet treble strings! Good luck! **Q: Anyone have issues with these strings slipping? Especially the E?** A: What I do Eric is - line the hole in the tube/axle so it's straight up and down, Push the string down through the hole and pull the string through leaving a reasonable amount amount of slack. Turn the axle through one half turn and bring the end of the string (which is poking up towards you) over the string coming along from the neck and back down through the hole in the axle. To make sure it doesn't slip do this twice. When you want to change strings, unwind the string till it is as a loose as possible, take the loose end and push it backwards through the loop you made originally, enough so you can grab a piece of the string either side of the axle, then pull upwards., and Bob should be your uncle. Hope you can understand all that. Use the same technique on all the top four strings and you wont have any slippage.
