I gave this product 3-stars for several reasons: First, I do have 2 Fosa containers and the vacuum unit. I finally decided to try the bags and wanted the 16 pack medium size bags. At the time, the write-up was very misleading and I thought the adapter was included. It was not. The write-up also stated, “"Vacuum unit and adapter sold separately." I searched all through their products on Amazon and on Fosa’s website and could not find where I could find these items to purchase “separately.” The $39.99 item (here) is the only item that comes with the adapter and storage bags and if I had known that at the time, I would have purchased this item instead of just the medium bags. I contacted Fosa and told them how confusing their description was and of my dilemma. At the time, they were offering a percentage off (to everyone) and directed me to buy this item; and that was it! But at least now, Fosa took my recommendation and they have changed the wording on their descriptions! Hooray for the customers!!Be aware: that no matter how many bags you buy, you only get one (1) clip for closing a bag! So, don’t lose sight of it. Getting the vacuum to work on “new” bags will take you about 5 tries before the suction starts. On bags that have been used previously (washed and dried, of course), 2 tries and it works fine. Sometimes you will need to adjust the rubber rim that fits around the vacuum unit if it is not sucking the air out. And, sometimes you need to move the unit around the round circle just right. It is not as simple as the video above makes it out to be. You have to “play” with it to get it just right. I don’t know how long these bags will last with reusing them – they are pretty costly. In addition, every time I take the adapter off the vacuum unit, the rubber rim comes off. Is it just me? For me, the medium bags work for my food storage needs just fine. I did notice that if food is not dry, you may have to re-vacuum the air out a 2nd time.Some days it is more trouble than it is worth and I would not have wasted my money.BTW, if anyone remembers the hand-held vacuum unit that Reynolds came out with many years ago and the storage bags trimmed in blue, well your Fosa Turtle vacuum unit will work on those bags too!! My Dad has some of the bags and it works just fine!

I love the containers so i was excited to see they came out with bags. They have saved so much food that would have gone bad. It gets a really good vacuum seal. Whats great is you can open it, get what you need and then reseal it. These bags are great for items that dont fit in the containers. The only issue I could say about it is it sometimes takes a little to get the vacuum just right on the bag but when you do you can see it just get that great seal you want to save your food.

Bought the FOSA system with the canisters several years ago. Absolutely adore this set. Needed more canisters and found these zipper bags available also. These are a wonderful addition to this system. They offer the same vacuum seal with the flexibility of a shrinking package. The set comes with a selection of bag sizes and an adapter to allow the vacuum to work on the bags. The adapter also comes with an extra replacement diaphragm. Bags are reusable after cleaning. Will certainly purchase these again.

These products are all over the board. Some bags stay airtight, while other times they deflate (tested a few different ways and there is no rhyme or reason why some deflate and other times they don't). And after just a week, my husband dropped the Adporator and it broke in 3 pieces with no extra. So we had to buy a whole new set. :( :(

I like to stock up and save money on grocery items. I often buy large packages of things like cheese, lunch meats and veggies.I found myself eating them faster and more often then I really wanted to before they turn bad. With the FOSA bags and vacuumI can take my time eating them. It’s easy to use and works great.

These are quality bags that I would recommend but the vacuum converter does take some time to get used too. They are thick bags that hold quite a bit. They do not rip or tear easily but it can take you a while to get all the air out. You have to hold the vacuum just right to get everything out. Value for the money is a question for me because while you get a lot of bags, you can get a whole roll of bags you have to make cheaper. For convenience, I would say these are your best bet.

Empecé por adquirir los tuppers al vacío de esta marca y quedé tan satisfecha que decidí probar con las bolsas. Sin duda alguna todo un acierto!!Las verduras y embutidos se conservan perfectamente, ocupando el mínimo espacio.Viene con un adaptador con dos gomas de recambio para adaptarla a la tortuga (está hay que adquirirla aparte)

Difficile à utiliser, faire le vide est aléatoire et j'abandonne souvent au bout de 5 ou 6 tentatives, apres avoir bien vérifié que le sachet n'est pas trop rempli, que le zip est bien fermé sur toute sa longueur, que le turtle est bien posé à plat et le joint bien étanche. ..bref, une grosse déception d'autant que j'ai payé nettement plus cher que sur le site distributeur officiel de FOSA qui est souvent en rupture de stock.J'ai une douzaine de boites et j'attends de voir les nouveaux modèles (gamme Valence ) qui parait moins fragile.La marque doit faire des efforts sur la qualité et la fiabilité régulières des produits. Elle doit aussi proposer l'adaptateur en pièce séparée et non forcer à l'achat de kit. Cette pratique ne saurait fidéliser les clients sur le long terme.

Dommage, l'étanchéité se fait bien, mais au bout de très peu d'utilisation, le ZIP de fermeture se dessoude du sac qui devient inutilisable !!
