The lids on these jars have a plastisol liner which creates a great seal. Chalkboard labels and marker are perfect for giving your jar a striking and classic label appearance. These jars are made from soda lime glass, they can withstand high and low temperatures but extreme temperatures or sudden temperature shifts may cause breakage so be careful when microwaving, freezing or applying very hot liquids. The ink inside of the marker needs to be activated before it will flow properly. Make sure to give the marker a really good shape and press down the tip before the ink will begin to flow. You may need to repeat this process once or twice. This is used to protect the marker from drying out and becoming less effective.
