IPOW 2 Pack Patellar Tendon Support Strap for Knee Brace, Knee Support and Pain Relief

Have had knee pain for at least a couple of years. Sharp undeniable pain that makes it difficult to go down stairs especially. Have had shots, but did not want another. Nothing to lose but $10 for 2! This is a great value! Not exactly sure of the physiology behind how these work, but they do work! Walking without was a gamble. Could I get to my destination before the sharp pain starts? This takes away that feeling. It must give support in just the right spot, because using this for the last 3 weeks has made me feel more confident I can get to my destination pain free. Weird. I ❤️ this simple fix! Under regular loose pants, these do not show, and only create a slight bulge under leggings. Easy on-Easy off. Adjust to comfort. I find it doesn’t need to be tight, just snug enough that it doesn’t move. Great purchase!

This product works like magic as I have not felt pain when walking or kneeling. 10 out of 10!

This item actually helps tremendously and I will be using it daily I think. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because of a couple of things. The first thing is the fit. I have it adjusted to the smallest possible size and it’s just enough but barely. For reference, the area directly under my kneecap measures 13”. That being said, I am a smallish/medium sized woman so I would say this would probably fit most people unless you’re a fairly thin/small framed woman. The second issue is slipping. As soon as I would begin walking, it would start slipping down with each step. I just so happened to have a bottle of ABS Sock stop (the puffy paint-looking stuff that is on the bottom of grippy socks). This completely solved the issue and that sucker now stays right where I place it. All you have to do is paint on some dots or squiggles (mine isn’t real pretty but it doesn’t matter) and let it dry for like 6 or 7 hours and then it’s perfect. No more slipping! Those issues aside, the device actually works well and I would have never guessed something so simple would alleviate my knee pain but a friend recommended this item to me. She said her Orthopedic doctor recommended this brand so that’s why I chose this particular one.

My daughter was recently diagnosed with some issues with her knees. She plays sports and is a pitcher. The doctor recommended this brace to wear while playing and to ice the knees directly after activity. They are great! Comfortable, not too bulky under her softball pants, easy to wash, and stays in place. They are not too tight either. This brand is a lot better prices than the other stores and just as good.

Relieves the pain somewhat but I wouldn't say it's a miracle of a difference. Fits my knee easily and the velcro is easy to pull on and off. Basic quality for the price so it's somewhat a value for your money. Wish it didn't have any of the brand's name on the front but what can you do about it. Washed it once and it still looks good so looks durable even through a wash so far.

Started with some single knee pain wore one for a day while doing house work. Comfortable fit, stayed in place with little to no adjustment. Helped my pain almost immediately.

I erased both my review and updated review. I loved them at first for a long time, then they really started bugging the sides of my knees and were pretty painful to wear. Now after trying 4 different ones I think and returning them all immediately, one just after looking at it. I’m going back to these are most definitely the best ones out there! I think they just aren’t made to last for years and start to stretch a bit. So the plastic was rubbing on the sides of my knees. After trying and returning the other pairs I wound up buying another pair of these but this time I got the purple IPow Sports ones and they fit me perfectly with so much padding on the sides that the plastic isn’t even near my skin. These are by far the most supportive patellar bands out of any of them out there. After a blown out ACL/Meniscus clean out/repair and another surgery 25 years later for a meniscus clean out only, these are excellent for everyday wear for support, traveling, site seeing, and all sports as well. These are better than any neoprene brace or even better than a bulky custom Don Joy, in my opinion. I am an avid skier. Ski around the world back country deep pow and at resorts on groomers. Taught skiing for 5 years a while back up in Mammoth and since I have bought these, when I ski anywhere I wear them and I never have an issue. I tore meniscus the second time in an unexpected snowball fight with my daughter and I did not have these bands on. If I had, I would not have had to go through a second surgery. I highly highly recommend these over any of the other bands out there if you are looking for some strong support without having to wear a bulky or sweaty brace. I can only imagine the other ones I tried, working for someone who is a teenager who has not had any injuries and is looking for something to just put around their patella bc they have been feeling a little sore or having growing pains. I mean, I would still recommend this one but they may not really be injured or actually need any support so the others would work just fine. :) I think the key is to buy a new pair every couple years if you are using them regularly like me.

I’ve tried braces (several types), shots, topical NSAIDs. All worked to some degree. These straps seem to work better. Perhaps because they address the main issue: bone movement. Apparently as we age out tendons get stretched out. These straps reinforce the weakened tendons and prevent bone on bone movement. I’ve only worn them for a few days and I believe I will have more to say later.

Its hard to keep it in place and might not work for some, depending on knee shape. It does help to keep the knee together

The material cause irritation on my skin on the second day of wearing. But it's from me coz I did not wash it before wearing. Now, it's almost a month I've been wearing it and no complain at all. Excellent support and alleviate my knee pain. Never been comfortable with my joints.

Ya llevo mas de un mes usandolo y ha funcionado muy bien, el material es suave y comodo y cumple bien su funcion desde que lo uso ya no me duelen las rodillas al bailar. Definitivamente comprare mas ya que se desgasten.

Love this product, I wear it everyday to support my knee and I also used it for my elbow. No irritations not like covered knee/ elbow support, it becomes itchy specifically during warm weather.
