Dockers Men's Cargo Short Classic Fit D3

I normally wear a 34 in Dockers. Tried the 34 the first time and they fell down around my knees. Sent it back for a 33 with almost the same results. ended up with a 32 which I haven`t worn since HS. The 32 fit. Like the shorts and would have given 5 stars except for the problem having to send back multiple times.

Soon as I opened the package I wished I'd ordered 2 or 3 additional pairs in various colors.They were exactly what I was hoping for. I saw a review complaining they were shorter than in the picture. Well, you have my permission to totally disregard that one, I ordered the 36w x 10 and they come to my knee exactly in the same as in the product photo.The material is wonderfully soft, and from the moment you first take them out of the plastic bag and put them on, you're gonna find they are sigh-inducingly comfortable.

I had picked up a pair of these at a brick & mortar store, and have been looking for them again ever since. The 10" inseam is perfect for me, ending just above my knee. The most unusual (and satisfying) feature is that the side pockets are very deep and actually usable. Most shorts or cargo shorts I have tried have very shallow side pockets, and will regurgitate almost anything you put in them when you sit down. No regurgitating here; love these shorts!

For one thing, these run about a half an inch to an inch too large around the waste. This WAS my third pair of Dockers Shorts in this style and found this to be true with the other shorts (which I kept) as well. While I was attracted to this pattern by the subtle camo combined with the styling. After laundering them for first time (and prior to wearing) I noticed part of the side inseam was sewn into the rear pocket area, thus rendering the shorts unwearable. I realize these things are mass produced by the ship load, but this being a "Levi" product you would think these would have made it to the "irregular" bin. Then again, perhaps these were "irregular" to begin with? Levis, whether it jeans, jackets or these shorts, just are not what they used to be. I did like the fabric and sadly Amazon is now sold out of this particular pattern in this style.

Great fit and style. I bought it from amazon because I could not get my size in the store. Watch out on the size. Normally I go for 29-30 and I had to return it buy size 28 instead for a similar fit. I am now looking for different colors in this!

If you have not bought any Dockers for several years you may be surprised by the quality of their new products. They are using a much lighter weight fabric than they used to. This appears to be happening across their product line and I have found the same issue even in their pants being sold in high end brick and mortar stores. The fabric in these snags and runs like no other pants I own. Don't let a cat sit on your lap if you want to keep these looking good.These shorts run slightly large, or at least the pair I received does. Sold as a size 34, the waist actually measures 36" inside. I hoped they would shrink when washed, but I measured before and after washing and found no difference.The cargo pockets are kept closed with a large button. I appreciate that there is no velcro used in these shorts and there are no back pocket flaps. When I get pants with any velcro I always cut it off because I have found that it inevitably tears up upholstery.There is an inner pocket in the right front pocket to allow you to slip in your cell phone and keep it separate from keys. The depth of this inner pocket is not quite as much as I would like, and my keys often seem to find their way into that inner pocket along with the cell phone. All manufacturers use light weight fabric for pocket bags, but Dockers seems to have gone to something even lighter than most.As some others have mentioned, the inseam is 10" which I consider right for a cargo short. I like the fit, but that obviously is a personal thing.I live in Hawaii and wear cargo shorts every day year-round. These look good, other than the dozens of snags, but will certainly not last as long as I had hoped.

Spot on fit and very nice quality. What you should expect from Dockers. Excellent price, too.

I bought these for my Soos (from Gravity Falls) Halloween costume. They're very comfortable. I've found myself preferring them over some of my older pants.
