- 2-Pack Magnetic Phone Holder for Car, Dashboard Magnet Car Mount

After trying SO many phone mounts for my car - cup holder expanders, spring-loaded grabbers, magnetic connectors that grip the air vents, suction cups on the dashboard - they were all either ineffective, or simply in an inconvenient place for my preference. I understand many who might want their phones at or close to eye level, for reading maps, or looking up delivery addresses if driving for various services, but this is not me. I wanted something I could glance easily down at slightly, without having to take my eyes off the road too long, and something that would not block my driving vision, air vents, stereo or cup holders. I also wanted something that effectively - and strongly - would hold my iPhone (or any other cell phone) in place solidly, while being easy to grab my phone if need be. The main difference between this product (2, actually, included in the box) and all others? These are super strong, with high quality adhesive, with extremely strong magnets. The biggest difference? They are super small! I attached one to the smooth, but curved surface just behind my transmission shifter, and it held my phone amazingly well. However, given that I have a fairly thick, protective rubberized case on my phone, while the magnet held pretty well directly through the case (probably would've been ok), I wanted it to be solid. Included in the box are multiple-sized metal pieces, which can either be affixed with the attached adhesive strip, or if you don't want to adhere anything to your actual phone or case (I did not), you can simply place the metal disk between your phone and the back side of your phone case, and the case holds the metal disk in place soundly, without slippage. THEN when I placed my phone (with case attached, and the small metal disk inside the case, next to, but not stuck to, my phone) - BAM! That magnet grabbed my phone solidly!! No matter how many speed bumps I went over (I tested it thoroughly), it held tightly, no shaking, no sliding, nothing. Just a convenient, solid magnetic holder. And the best part - when pulling over, or exiting my car, simply grabbing your phone and moving it away from the magnetic immediately, and without any trouble, released the grab, and this tiny little magnetic holder waits for your next trip. I never knew something so effective could be so small - and so unobtrusive. I have no idea why most of the phone holders are SO large, with sometimes complicated contraptions, just to make our phones conveniently available to us. Best car phone holder I've ever had, hands down (ok, pun maybe intended)! :)

This Magnetic Phone Holder f works incredibly well and has made driving much more convenient. The magnet is surprisingly strong and keeps my phone securely in place even on rough roads and sharp turns. Installation was quick and easy, and the compact design doesn’t block my view or take up much space on the dashboard. I also like how simple it is to attach and remove my phone with one hand. It holds the phone firmly while still allowing easy adjustment for the perfect viewing angle. Great quality product at a very reasonable price.

Good solid mount. I've had it for 2 weeks now, and it does its job perfectly. Compared with other options available when I bought it, it was a really good price especially for 2 of them. It is a fairly static mount, you can adjust the angle its mounted at, but that's it. Phone stays attached well, and the included magnets are really strong. By itself, it doesn't really impact visibility, it's quite small and unobtrusive. Just make sure when you have your phone on it, it isn't blocking anything important. I have mine slightly covering my AC vent which makes it a little annoying on hot days. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is because of how they upsell you. I only needed 1 mount for my car, but the price difference is only like a dollar or two between the 2 pack and the single pack. It would have been really nice if the single pack was closer to half the price of the two pack.

Amazing. The glue holds up great and the base isn’t to big so it can sit comfortably on round dashboards. Plus the magnets are strong so it holds the phone no problem.

These phone holders are amazing; easy to install; however, you need to make sure you apply the base to a flat surface. The grip is fantastic and you will wonder if the phone will ever separate from this product.

I had picked up another set. But the weight of my phone was to heavy, now this one has a locking wheel and now I can see the phone while I’m driving. I am very happy with this one. And since it comes with two, it might be a while before I have to get more.

I really like this mount. I have a Samsung 10S+ with a case, even a slim case it is pretty heavy. I first bout a small profile car mount using a ball and socket joint. The profile was great but it could not handle the weight of the phone especially in even slightly bumpy traffic the phone just flopped down in an unusable position. The APPS2 uses an adjustable cam to lock the joint in place. I have use this style of set up before with a vent mount which wok OK, but had some similar problems to non locking joint mounts, as the vent would sometimes drop due to phone weight. However witht he APPS2 being adhered in place and having the locking cam I do not have to make any adjustments, the phone stays in place and I can concentrate on the road with my phone completely in view. Excellent for using GPS. Our state just passed a no cellphone law so this allows me to be completely hands free. There is a nice cord loop that help to manage your charging cord - I use it for the sound output cord. this is a nice feature since I don't have to go searching for the cord every time I get in the car. I would give 5 stars but I don't like that I have to adhere it to the dash but I suppose that is the price for security. The product works as intended. It hold my big phone easily. The magnet is strong although I have only tried in a suburban environment with excellent roads. I bout a second one for my other car. Also I am curious to see how the adhesive holds up to an Arizona summer when temps can reach 200 in a car. If you are looking for a mount for your larger phone, this one works great and I highly recommend it.

It’s been many months, it’s still Very sturdy. Very handy to use. Two magnets for phone is included. It was perfect for me and my bf’s phones. He changed his phone so have to order another magnet sticker for his new phone. I recommend this over the claw one because after you stick the magnet one time to your phone/phone case, you just touch the mount and it sticks very easily just like that. Only one hand required. It’s sturdy. I find the claw to be annoying and have to adjust to mount especially when driving

As described, two pack was good value, I am using this on a tractor dash and haven't had any issues with it not staying put and holding my mobile phone, happy with this purchase.

This is amazing, I love the fact that it comes with 2 circular metal plates and 1 larger rectangle plate. The smaller plates work well, even if you have your ID or Driver's License slotted in-between. The car mount magnet itself is extremely strong, and the suction to the dash is strong. The fact that it has some grooves to bend and better place the car mount makes it ideal to work on curved surfaces. Mounted in a Ford Figo just next to the center air vent. Looks neat and clean. Works perfectly.
