Here are a few brush details and size comparison photos. I wanted to find a few well made, soft, natural brushes that were a pleasure to use, and that would last. So glad to find them. Hope this helps you pick out a new favorite makeup brush or two. The photo also shows an average size foam applicator and brush on the left and an eyeliner pencil on the right.These three brushes (964 ...) are different sizes, but the same shape, wide and narrow (see photos). Beautiful for smoothly and evenly applying your base eyeshadow on your lids, without sprinkling it on your cheeks. They hold powder like a dream. The kids run them over their fingers and giggle, that soft. Da Vinci makes both art brushes and makeup brushes, in all different sizes, shapes and materials, natural and synthetic, all described in detail on their website. I purchased these on Amazon.If I had to buy them again, I'd get the smudger (4424), the blender (41941), the wide one (964-16), and one of the remaining three, but I have a teen daughter, so we'll put them all to good use.Handcrafted in Germany. Eye pencil is a brown Marc Jacobs, eye shadow is Dior Backstage #002 Cool Neutrals.

I prefer the real fur (sable) when using eyeliner. Fur is softer and more flexible and will last forever if one takes the time to rinse it off after applying the eyeliner. Just wash it with gentle hand soap and the cake eyeliner washes right out. I had my old brush for twenty plus years and finally broke the handle. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find another sable brush and when Amazon was selling them I bought two--figured they would last me forever! The cake eyeliner glides smoothly on and I can get the liner really close to the base of my eyelashes with the sable brush and it gives a more natural and smoother look unlike the felt tip eyeliners.I knew I would not be disappointed! The DaVinci Brush is a quality brush and made well. I thought it well worth the price.

I'm trying to find a good, natural bristle eyeliner brush. As a painter, I know the value of good brushes for all jobs. It's getting hard to find natural bristle makeup brushes in general. For use as an eyeliner brush, the bristle size is a little too full for my use. Sizing on these brushes like they use in artist's brushes would help.

Great eyeliner brush.....very easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to create a fine, neat line on the lid!

I just dont like this style brush. it doesnt work well for me, I guess I just cant figure it out, either that or the gel liner I have doesnt like the style brush.
