AZONIC Outlaw 32 Spoke 135mm Wheelset

Bought this wheel set for my son for Xmas after he destroyed 3 standard wheels over the last year. These wheels are bomb proof. A little on the heavy side, but great all-mountain wheels. My son does a lot of bike park jumping and the wheels have stood up to the regular impacts without even needing truing yet. Not to mention they look great. All you have to do is pick your color.

Tough wheelset! Bought the red because the price was right... I really wanted the blue though. I like to ride single track so these wheels are perfect for me. Pros: double wall rim, disc brake hub, eyelets in the wheels, sealed bearings, multiple axle sizes accepted Cons: heavy, extra parts needed for 15mm thru axle.

I can't believe how sharp these look, or how beefy they are, for the price! For the cost of one Chris King hub you can get this whole wheelset that is highly modular and customizable to 4 different axle setups. These are every bit as good as wheelsets costing twice as much and these look even better than most. I'm a big dude so I still had my local bike shop true and tension them before riding but if you are under 200# that step probably isn't necessary. the front rim was slightly out of true the rear was slightly egged, but its a hassle to to strip them down and sent them back so ill just ride them for now, if they get worse ill take them to a bike shop to get them perfect.

Great wheels, some people say a little heavy but strong, light, good price... pick two. Besides they aren't that heavy. Anyway my only real complaint is that they do not come with a CHOICE of axle sizes/conversions, they come with a lot of options but why not let people pick? I say this because, while they do come with just about anything you can imagine, I need the parts for a 15mm front axle and the 3/8 135mm rear through axle. The 135 QR rear fits but this is a pretty heavy duty wheel set to be running a QR on, I'd rather have the extra strength. Same goes for the front, if your running a 20mm axle or are ok with the QR than you are in good shape, otherwise, more parts.

I bought a set of black 650b's (32spoke, 135mm) for the silly price of $167 right here on amazon. Aside from that being a steal the outlaws have always been a reliable workhorse of a wheelset for me. I used them for a singlespeed build and have put just under 100mi on them and they've been rock solid. Although do yourself a favor and swap out the rear QR for the bolt-thru 10mm "Momentum" axle (sold separately). The wheelset also includes 15mm front end caps, 142mm rear axle, and rear adapters for 10mm bolt-thru axle.

bought the wheels in green. within a year they faded to this ugly yellow color. Wish the weight had faded with the color. Ended up with ugly, heavy wheels. Called Azonic several times and they offered to sell me a new discounted set. To me the color fade should have been covered it wasn't my fault. I keep my bikes stored inside. Any way I ended up switching out the wheels for a used set of mavic crossmax and have been very happy. Made my bike about 2lbs lighter than the outlaws and just as tough. Would have kept these for my DH bike it they weren't so ugly now.

Bought this wheelset to replace a blown shimano xt deore hub. Went with the green anodized and they look really nice on my bike! So far after the first 50 miles I'm really impressed. I'll update my review after my first 1000 miles. If you're a bigger rider, 200+ lbs. then these are the replacement wheels for you. Running these tubeless with a Maxxis Minnion 2.4 up front and a Continental Trail King 2.4 on the rear. Super impressed so far.
