Great Bible with a Comfortable Feel and Useful Features
I recently purchased the NASB Large Print Ultrathin Reference Bible (Blue, Leathertex, 2020 text), and overall, I’m very pleased with it. The cover is a beautiful blue color, soft to the touch, and feels great in the hand, which makes it a pleasure to carry around. The text size is a nice balance—not too small, but I still need glasses for longer reading sessions. The layout is well thought out. I appreciate how the footnotes are separated from the cross-references and placed at the bottom of each page, making it easy to read the main text without distraction. The center column cross-references are good, though they can get a bit difficult to read at times. Having two colors throughout the Bible, especially for things like verse numbers and headings, might have made them easier to distinguish and follow. I understand why they kept it one color, though. The pages are good, and I really enjoy the book introductions, though I would have preferred them at the beginning of each book instead of at the end of the Bible. That said, it doesn’t take away from the overall usability. This Bible strikes a good balance between size and portability, making it convenient for both study and everyday use. While it may not have all the extra features or luxury details of some higher-end Bibles, it’s still a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable, practical Bible that gets the job done well without being overly bulky or expensive.

Great Bible
This is my new Bible. It is the Blue Edition. It has two ribbons one is the blue and other is black. This is large print and is perfect for my reading at 72 years of age. For those looking for all the bells and whistles this is very close. It does not have the thumb index tabs or the red letter for Christs Words. I really don't need those things since I learned the Bible Books a long time ago and it is simple to know when Jesus is talking.I was looking for the important stuff like all the references and the maps to bring alive the message. It is very helpful to have those things to understand the travels of Jesus and the Apostles in their times. The modern language is much better then my trying to read the King James Bible. We simply don't live with that English and we never have in our lifetimes. It is old and archaic to us and does not make the Bible any more Holy to have it. This is accurate for our language. I have compared it where it is different than some other versions and it does NOT change the meaning of the scriptures or ADD to the scriptures. It simply puts it in our more modern language. To say that the King James is more accurate because it was the first English Bible is to ignore all the wealth of new translations in all other languages to witness to all the nations. In these last days God is reaching to the entire world for a witness to all the nations before he comes again.Remember that all scriptures are inspired by God. We can be assured that the message of Christ as the Messiah is the message consistent in all the Bible. He is the hope for all to be saved. That truth is ever present in all Bibles. This Bible is not real leather but very nice leather feel and flexible. It has beautiful silverbinding pages instead of gold which is beautiful with the blue. Pages are nice and no bleed through. They also do not stick right out of the wrapping. Very easy to just start reading. Very good price.

Exactly what I was looking for
This was exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for a black covered, NASB Bible of good quality, and that's exactly what this is. The print is the perfect size for someone who doesn't need giant print, but wants larger than some of the tiny print you see in some Bibles. It is very easy to read. The cover seems like good quality bonded leather, and the binding seems to be well done. The pages aren't too thin or too thick. When you open the Bible and lay it flat, it stays open to the page you are on without trying to close, yet it also feels sturdy and not like the binding is going to fall apart. Very good quality. The only thing I would point out is that I wouldn't call it "Ultrathin." It is definitely thinner than a lot of Bibles I've seen, but if you're looking for a truly "Ultrathin" Bible, this is not what you're after. It is 1.5" thick, which isn't bad at all, just not really what I would call ultrathin. Personally, I wasn't looking for an ultrathin Bible, so this one is absolutely perfect for me.Another thing, if you're looking for a study Bible with all kinds of commentaries, that's not what this is. This is just a good, old fashioned reading Bible of great quality. Though, it does have the normal NASB cross references and notes in the middle column, a small concordance in the back, a few maps, and several blank pages in the back that could be used for notes. And if writing on the pages is your thing, there is around 3/4" on the edges that gives you enough space to jot a note down. It's an excellent Bible for what it is.

A Great Little Grab and Go Bible!
This NASB translation is just what I was looking for (my favorite) for my journalist bag. Since it's not an expensive Bible, if it gets damaged with being out and about, it's not expensive to replace. The print font is small but dark and easy to read. And I'm glad it is not a "red letter" edition, as I find that red lettering usually fades and is hard to read for certain eye conditions. Headings are nice in it too. For the money, it was just what I was looking for.
