This a must read for all who cry out wondering why they are not satisfied in their jobs or careers. Dr. Munroe explains what freedom is and what it is not.He shows how important it is to use your talent for personal fulfillment to be realized.I love how he relates the exodus experience to our need for freedom.

Just started reading this book and it is thusfar great. Dr. Monroe goes in great details in the book about the children of Israel coming out of Egypt in bondage of the mind and refuse to change causing a 30 day journey 40 years. It relates to christians today that in order to move up with God we have got to renew our mind. He also shares insight on the garden in which which Adam had management over and when he failed to manage what God expected of him with the forbidden fruit, Adam started the blame game of who allowed it to happen. This is so true today that our society has become professional in blaming others for our plight.This is a must read about management and mismanagement of what God has entrusted us with and how important it is to constantly renew our mind daily and as the word tells us, and to examine ourselves to make sure we are on the right track with renewing our minds. It sheds a lot of understanding on the children of Israel coming out of Egypt and the fear of something new kept them in bondage. I have worked with prisoners and this book really help me understand their mindset and even when they are free, and thinking they can make it in this society, their mind is still in bondage.It applies to our daily lives that change and the price of freedom is not easy, and we have to be presistent to change. I have been reading Dr. Monroe material for decades and he has yet to fail me. If you want to be liberated in your mind to move up in and with God, this is the book explaining why some achieve liberation in the mind, and some of us just stay in bondage becoming professional blamers and underachievers. Well done Dr. Monroe.

A must-read for anyone on the journey to self-discovery. If you've been battling with questions like "Who am I?", "Why am I here?", or "What is my life's purpose?", this book will definitely lead you in the right direction.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who have tried to move forward in life and have been unsuccessful. Especially those of us who ancestor’s were apart of the Trans-Atlantic Slave trade. This books high lights why we maneuver in life the way we do, and then wonder why we are still oppressed. You know the one step forward, two step back operation. And even why some of us love love the Christian messages of being raptured, crossing over, and dislike the wilderness. Dr.Myle breaks down what freedom really means, look like, and requires. The instructions or observations can be applied to a person’s personal life, community, and nations. I was amazed to see the copy right date being the year of 2000, because it is a right now read and resource. This book took me on a journey to through the human mind to explore generational patterns, curses, mindsets and deeply rooted beliefs about freedom. Freedom has a price, but so does oppression. My biggest take away, and there were many, however, to recognize the the oppressor and the oppressed are victims of oppression!

I find this book very good and easy to read. The way Dr. Myles Monroe simplify and break down his explanations captures my interests so that I don't want to stop reading and learn more. When I learned that he was passed away it felt unfortunate because this type of teaching is so needed right now. Thank God he recorded materials that can still help a lot of people.
