The Home Mini and Nest Mini are *almost* identical in size, shape and plug layout, but not quite. For example, the Nest Mini has a built-in wall-hanging hole. Since I don't have the Nest mini, I don't know whether that would prevent it from fitting properly to the base. They apparently use the same micro USB power supplies and from images on the web they appear to be in the same place, but a very tiny difference could mean it wouldn't fit. Especially the way this power base slides closes around the Home mini so neatly (I'm really happy with it). **Q: Is it compatible with nest mini gen 2?** A: Nope, micro usb power, only compatible with the discontinued first generation.
