Spring Mount Defective and\or Bad Design
I installed this whip over the weekend and after simply moving the spring mount back and forth by hand, it became loose would no longer tighten. The spring appears to thread on to an aluminum machined base. Once it comes loose there's basically no way to get it to tighten again as it appears to be stripped. A bunch of material (like dried glue) came out of the spring as well after it failed, almost as if they knew that it is inadequate and tried to glue it in place. I ended up drilling through the bottom of the mounting base into the spring and drove a couple of machine screws into it. This appears to have solved the problem but I haven't taken it out yet so time will tell whether or not those screws will break once loads are placed on the whip. The lights work great and they’re extremely bright but the mount is garbage. I don’t know if I received a defective unit or if it’s just a bad design (I suspect the latter). If it breaks, I’ll probably put on a fiberglass whip with a glowstick on it. I'll try to update this after I take it out. My advice would be if you buy one, mount the base first and flex the spring around a few times. Mine popped and came loose almost immediately. Or you could just buy a better one and save yourself the trouble. Unfortunately I don't have a recommendation for a better one rn but I'll update this if I find one. Good luck!

Flickering whip
Only used it on two rides and it flickers on and off very annoying. I am try to get a replacement from the company, but so far it's been a difficult process. They couldn't receive my video of the whip flickering so I tried to post it here in the review hope it works.
