Just thinking if it's not porous, would there be water build up when it rains?** A: I use it to control the weeds in my vegetable patch. I cover the whole area in November and open up in March. It has been very successful and no weeds and the soil is easy to prepare for the coming season planting. **Q: Would this be work to temporarily fix a leaking extension flat roof for a few months? Or would tarp be a better option here? Thanks!** A: I think that this would be strong enough if was just a short term repair.
