Crape Myrtle Trees will bloom red all summer long and mature up to 30 feet at a rate of 3-5 feet per year. My crapes are shipped in super strong boxes, carefully secured in their original containers, and never shipped bare root. Container trees can be planted at any time of the year, but crapes are especially tolerant of summer heat. They actually thrive in the heat. Depending on the variety chosen, your trees will arrive at your door about 6-12 inches tall. I am a school teacher and I grow hundreds of crape in my backyard. Grew nicely over Fall ‘25 in pots. Will plant on the ground in Spring’26. Hopefully they survive Indiana winters 🙏

Remaining hopeful
I ordered 6 crepes and planted them the day after receiving them. I put some crepe Myrtle fertilizer at the roots to help stimulate growth. These pictures were taken after a week of being planted and watering daily because of the extreme temperatures in Houston, TX. I have not seen any progress to date. I wanted to give and update. Trees are showing signs of growth!

Healthy starters arrived today! Well packaged with damp soil still. Very impressed. Can’t wait to watch them grow! 2 MONTH UPDATE: The trees are doing very well! We planted them around a metal fence to bring some shade and color. They are blooming and so vibrant. Highly recommend this seller!

Crape Myrtle Trees
Only one of the 6 has survived. Not sure what happened but pretty dismal survival rate. Any pointers beyond the instruction received for a hot and dry climate would be nice.
