I normally buy these at target but because of COVID-19 I took a chance. And I am exceptionally happy with my purchase. To the point of purchasing a second one for the other bathroom. The rings are well riveted, the material is exceptionally heavy. I want to advice anyone reading my review that the actual curtain itself is extremely heavy duty and it will be slightly stiff when new in package. If you live somewhere warm hang it up in the heat for an hour or so and it will loosen up and relieve the creases. The second curtain I just hung up and allowed the creases to come out (took a day or so)When I bought this house it had cheap dollar tree type shower hooks. This curtain is heavier than cheap curtains and will break them. The normal 2.97 type from brick and mortar stores (or I'm sure Amazon carries them as well) work fine though.They hold up well to washing but of course do not put them in the dryer (ok I haven't at least)I use this as an interior curtain to keep my cloth curtain and as protection from my purple hair. The curtain does stain a bit from the dye but it also will wash off pretty easily.It is wider than my shower and I do need to use care to keep it from mildewing. I try to leave it fully open when not in use. And I wash it once a month. Perhaps I don't have the issues some people describe because I leave it fully open and I use a daily shower cleaner after each shower. Not because of the curtain but more because I'm lazy and only like having to clean the shower once a week.

Ok so these where not purchased to be used as shower liners/curtains so this review may be a bit different. First let me tell you these are the best shower curtains I have ever purchased! For those wondering they are very heavy gauge, not thin at all, nice weight and strong, and have metal grommets.I need to have my bath enclosure replaced however just don't have the funds to have the walls torn out and new put in and tiled at this time so instead of looking at the ugly surround that is in there now I used 2 of the Maytex liners to cover the 3 walls in my shower/tub area. I used white Duck Brand tape and taped from the top by the ceiling and sides by the tub. I have a window in the center so cut out for that and taped around it. There is one seam where the 2 curtains meet but with the white Duck tape it isn't that noticeable. The Duck tape is working like a charm holding it in place. I have the curtain draped down into the tub so it works out pretty good.So far there is no mold or mildew on the curtains and it has been about 6 weeks since it went up. The curtains do have a strong smell to them the first day or two but after that it seems to have dissipated so it wasn't a big deal.All I can say is for right now I'm happy with the results and even happier that I saved about $1500 replacing my tub/shower lol.

I've had the clear liner in use for about 4 months or so and I like it quite a bit. My "every 6 week" trip to the corner store has ceased and so far I haven't spotted anything of interest/concern on the material.Out of the package it will emit a strong odor, but it's the unavoidable cost of entry with these types of materials. I toughed it out for about 10 days at which point the smell was gone and I could enjoy the benefits. For those of you who have a basement or spare room, unfold it there and let it hang for a week or so. I would hesitate to put it outside on a sunny day though - I'd bet the UV rays could alter the chemistry of the material.As other reviewers noted, if you have to treat it with antibacterial soap, then it's not quite above-board advertising. I decided to go the route of minimal maintenance and after 4 months, even with my hard water, things look great. All I do is at the end of my shower I fill a cup with water and splash it all over the top of the curtain until all visible traces of accumulated soap are gone. The material is slick and water beads well on it so it will take away the soap even if it's toward the bottom. Then, after exiting the shower (mine is a tub style) I flip the liner out to the outside (dry side) of the tub and keep it extended along the curtain rod to speed drying. Lastly, I spray the inside (wet side) of the tub wall with one of those shower-maintainer-non-wipe sprays so when the liner goes back the following morning, there is no material on the tub that can begin to adhere to the liner. The whole process takes 90 seconds. I will not use a washing machine for a shower liner - that's just me :)Minus one star because, in my case, the manufacturer folded the liner in such a way that there is a pronounced crease that runs the full width about two inches from the bottom causing it to not hang quite as flush as it should.

Nice and thick shower curtain. Heavy enough that it does not 'blow' around in the shower spray but it's still pliable. Not smelly, I only noticed the new plastic odor for a little while when just hung and it was gone the next day. Very happy with the quality for the price.

This isn't your typical flimsy curtain. This curtain is thick and has a good amount of weight to it and won't float up against you when you're trying to shower. Having that extra weight and thickness makes it easy to clean as it doesn't move around as much as you wipe it down. Appears to be very durable so this will be my choice whenever it comes time to buy a new one.

These fit my shower perfectly. Love the magnets on the bottom to keep in place. Love the reinforced holes at the top so doesn't tare. Good quality plastic as well. Bought and extra for later down the road because was best I have ever bought.
