IT was perfect for a switch controlling the outdoor programmed garage light. If the switch is turned off the program of the light no long exists. So it was very important to have a cover so no one will touch that switch going forward to mess up the programmed light. It looks very nice. I like it!!!!!

Super easy to install. I have twin 2.5 year old boys who have just transitioned to toddler beds and love to get out of bed and turn lights on over and over and over again 🤪 We we’re using masking tape to keep the switch down and this has immsensely helped our nighttime routine.

Like many homes, the switch for my garbage disposal is right next to the switch for the light over the sink. I can not tell you how many times something has slipped into the disposal and I go to turn the light on, only to hear the horrible sound of metal on metal pinballing around in the sink. NO MORE!!! This little switch guard makes it almost impossible to accidentally turn on the disposal now, saving my silverware, disposal, possibly fingers, etc. I'll be ordering more for switches that need to stay on/off all the time as this is a cheap and easy solution.The only negative, as mentioned in some other reviews, is that the switch guard does not sit flat on the switch plate because of the screw hole extensions. This was easily remedied with some sandpaper as I was able to grind down the nubs in a matter of minutes to get the switch guard to sit flush against the switch plate.

My kids love flipping the kitchen light switches which can get super frustrating when you’re trying to cook! These are PERFECT. Took less than 5 minutes to install. Easy for me to use but they can’t so they are perfect!

For what it is, it works just fine for its intended purpose. I use this to stop people from accidentally turning off an outdoor light that has a motion sensor at a rental cabin I have. While you can still undo the locking mechanism to flip the switch, this at least makes people pause and realize maybe I shouldn't be touching this and leaving as is.Only real negative about it is that it it would not sit flush against the switch plate because of some plastic nubs that stick out where the screw holes are. This has been pointed out in other reviews, but I knew it would be easy to modify. I just took a chisel and hammer and cut those nubs off without any real effort. Because of that, that's why I took 1 star off the review rating.

this switch guard mounts over your existing switch cover. it has dimples on the back to line up and fit over your existing screw holes but the dimples are too large to fit flush with the switch cover. tried a few different brands of switch covers but to no avail you have to drill out your switch cover screw holes large enough for the dimples to sit flush. do not cut the dimples off the back of this switch guard or your screws will fall right through.
