The dates are good quality: large, not dried out, and they taste great. The weight (on my scale) is a bit shy of the 4 lbs I paid for, but that's my only complaint Update: I ordered again within a month and this time I received a little more than 4 lbs =) Both purchases have been great quality. Really pleased with these dates.

These dates are absolutely delicious and seem to be of very high quality. My reason for not giving a perfect score is because the content of the box is under weight. I bought a 4lb box with the intention of sharing equally but it is about a quarter pound less.

Ordered 3 different ones, 2 medjool and 1, accidentally, Deglet Noor, which I usually don't buy and wouldn't you believe it they are the best. This box is cardboard, with a plastic wrap but the dates loose in the box, and nowhere near as good as the Middle Eastern this company had a couple years ago (probably due to the war). These are Californian dates and even though soft, look a bit whitish (starting to mold) and drier than I expected, not fresh for sure. I bought a 4 pound box and should have first tried the 2 pounds, but trusted the company from which I used to buy 11 pound boxes. Probably will stay with the other brand, which has African Medjool dates.
