The Book I Have Been Looking For
I am 48 - had a hysterectomy, have one ovary, have endometriosis stage 4 and going through menopause - not pleasant, lol. After several surgeries, I could not lose the weight and felt so bad, irritable, tired and anxious All. The. Time. This book is absolutely amazing, and so are Dr. Berg's products. I already feel better and have lost weight (quit coffee completely and taking the adrenal and cortisol support). I have been also combining Dr. Bergs Keto diet and intermittent fasting. I also do a monthly 5 day mimicking diet each month too, which is helping shed inflammation. I still have a long way to go and I am only half way through this book and got it yesterday. I can't put the book down. It's like finally understanding how the organs and hormones work and how food can really heal your body. WoW. My goal is to keep this up for my entire life since the American Standard Diet just creates disease. Dr Berg also explains about how our environment affects our liver to flush out these toxins. Then drinking wine, eating sugar and refined carbs - no wonder our bodies are so sick all of the time.

Go for it!
It is a great easy to read book. I’ve been looking for the ideal nutrition program, what we are designed for as humans rather than what the commercial industry wants to feed us to sustain and increase their profit. This fits within all of the information I’ve found so far. The distinction in body types is a real eye opener. The only disturbing thing now is that I see ill people everywhere. Once you’ve gone through this book and know all of these symptoms you look at everybody as a patient and want to talk to them how you can solve their underlying issue which has resulted in overweight and accompanying problems It is a good educational book and will help people to understand what makes it work in a healthy way. And we all want a good health don’t we?

A FIRM BELIEVER IN DR. BERG'S PRODUCTS
I am so very thankful I came across Dr. Berg's videos on YouTube, which led me to this book & all of his supplements. This book has definitely changed my perspective on clean, organic & healthy eating. I had been feeling sickly, I was stressed out, & my blood pressure was high. I was taking motrin &/or Advil all of the time. However, after I read this book, I began buying organic foods and taking supplements for my Adrenal body type. I am THRILLED to report that I have not had to take any pain medication, I feel so much more calm, I am getting better sleep, & I have reduced my blood pressure!! Thank you Dr. Berg for helping me to understand how all of the organs & hormones in the body work, work with each other, & how I can begin to correct YEARS of harm that I had been doing to my body.

A lot of things important. Thyroid can also be the other types also. Berries After 5pm eat snacks. Cheeses like cottage and yogurt low fat eat everyother day. Seeds and nuts good for hormonal health ovaries .breads pasta crackers etc eatened only once a week.

I read a lot of books about whole foods and organic living. This book is very similar to other nutritional Dr.s views on healthy eating but goes into a very detailed explanation on how the body systems work. I really feel this book will help me get to my route for my body type and help me become the best and healthiest I can be. It not only reinforces what I already know but also goes much deeper in understanding how our bodies absorb and digest our food to make us healthy again. I watched many of Dr.Eric Berg's you tube videos and now I am very glad I bought his book on The 7 Principles of Fat Burning. It's excellent!

Dr. Berg is one of the best teachers I have ever known.
Anything by Eric Berg is great. After finding his videos on Youtube I watched hundreds of them. Because of his advice, I was able to lose 73 pounds in 53 weeks. I like the fact that he breaks down detailed information into language that anyone can understand.I am glad I purchased his book. He deserves all the support we can give him. He is a person who changes lives. He truly cares if his clients/patients do well. He treats the whole person. As he says, "Heal your body and the weight loss will happen."I totally recommend his books and his videos.

This Book Is The Best!
After watching Dr. Berg's YouTube videos on eating for your body type, I had to order this along with both the Adrenal Day & Night Formulas. It IS working!! I've put on 18lbs in 3 years but was not eating/doing anything different...not good for 62 year old me. I did not eat junk food, sugar, drink sodas...so why was I gining weight/feeling old inside- not sleeping thru the night anymore, waking with achy joints, starting to get heartburn. Since figuring out that I was the adrenal type, I've followed the Doctor's advice & can really feel the difference in my mental clarity, no more waking up stiff/achy/feeling tired. Keeping the cortisol & insulin triggering levels low but still enjoying delicious food is great. I got rid of ALL the processed food & started reading the labels on everything looking for hidden MSG, additives, etc. There is no struggle at all. Like Dr. Berg said - you will start to feel better before you look better/lose weight because " the weight is a symptom, not the root cause of your health issues!" Bingo!!! Thanks Dr. Berg for unlocking everything for me in that one simple sentence!

Love this book
Love this book. Dr. Berg has so many helpful tips about what causes certain ailments. Carbs are the root of all evil (sicknesses). My sister has restless leg syndrome and since she cut down on carbs her legs are less restless; no other doctors gave her this information! Good job Dr. Berg; thanks for informing us on so much. Also I lost 16 pounds and my sister lost 25 pounds after cutting back on carbs; we feel much better.

My leg health is already much better after only seven weeks
I bought this book after watching many of Dr. Berg's Youtube videos. While the prescription might be challenging to many including me, I am determined to repair my exhausted adrenals. I have had knee injuries back to back and was having other leg issues and am determined to continue walking for at least another thirty years without a walking aid. I hope that the information that I have learned from reading this book, and applying it in my life, will ensure that my leg health will improve and I will be walking unaided for sometime yet. My leg health is already much better after only seven weeks.As for the weight-loss, I could do to lose a few pounds but am not very overweight. I began by losing water weight. Now, I am dropping about a pound a week. My trousers now need belts and I am feeling more energetic, especially during my evening walk.Anybody struggling with liver, adrenals, thyroid, or ovarian problems should read this book.I advise following Dr. Berg on Youtube as there are updates to the book, ie new information that supersedes the book.

Great book that brings understanding which empowers you to make life altering changes. I have a B.Sc degree in sports science and I only wish I had this book as part of my studies. Well written by an author who really cares that we understand the issues affecting our health and take steps to improve our health including losing weight.
