My hair’s fine & wavy, use the defining cream for curls but still frizz. Advice for which one when my hair’s drying?** A: I have had frizzy hair for years. My mom tried different creams, towels, tools, etc and none helped. I'm 30 now and I use the mousse with my t-shirt hair towel (Seller, "BlessingsBySurprise" on Etsy makes them). My hair is finally not frizzy. The microfiber towels can actually damage your hair, unless you sit there and scrunch until your arms give out. I prefer to leave my hair up for a bit until it's just damp, so I use the t-shirt hair towel to wrap it up until that point. It keeps it curly by twisting and keeping it up. Then, I use enough mousse to cover my hair and scrunch for a few minutes. Now, I wash my hair weekly (daily can hurt your hair, after a long period of time, and then, if you skip a day, it gets super oily so you have to continue washing daily). Throughout the week, if I lose my curls (thanks to high humidity in Mississippi....) then I will use the cream or spray to get the curls back. **Q: difference between using the mousse vs the cream?** A: The cream has a very soft hold and is more moisturizing (I've found). The mouse has a very light hold, but it also a lighter product. If you have thick, course, or tightly curled or coily hair, I'd use the cream. If you have looser curls, finer hair, or have issues with heavy products/low volume, I'd use the mouse. Make sure to experiment before disregarding…. *by M***1 on August 18, 2025* Different than other curl creams and anti-frizz products. I will mention that my hair is fine, but I have a lot of of it. Its got banana curls underneath and a wavy-ish top layer. My hair is also currently shoulder length. I had used this a few times when I first got it and I did not really see any benefits. However, I decided to use it one day recently and literally just let my hair air dry. I didn’t touch it, I didn’t diffuse, and I tried not to touch it too much. I didn’t do anything else. I just let it air dry. And in the humid climate I live in, it dried surprisingly OK! I tried it again for my next wash day and got similar results but I had added a leave in conditioner, this air, dry cream, and then some mousse - this was too much and I did not like the way my hair came out, it also took forever to air dry, and nobody has that kind of time. I next tried this product alone with a light gel on top and completely air dry. I think this gave me the best results of all. It Air dried pretty quickly and had at least amount of frizz/dryness. It allows my waves to be defined without being crunchy or sticky once it dries. That’s one of my favorite things about this product, it just does not seem to make my hair, feel sticky, gross, or heavy like other curl creams do. I was even able to refresh on day two and day three by just adding some water and a little bit more of this air dry cream and finish it off with a touch of gel/hairspray. Although my waves never look “perfect” with any product that I use, I feel like this one got me pretty close to consistent beach waves that are pretty low maintenance. I only gave four stars because of course nothing is perfect. But I do like the flexibility of using this product and then adding gel or not if I feel like I need more hold. This will definitely be my summer product with some gel, and it will have to be seen if it will be sufficient for the cold dry winters in my area as well.
