Octane Turbo XL700 3 Seater Curved Bonded Leather Home Theater Seating

Purchased 2 sets of these black leather reclining chairs for my basement home theater. Each chair comes with a cup holder and reclines to almost sleeping/horizontal position. My kids play with the recline buttons and so far it has not broken down. We also installed the blue light strip under the seats and it gives a nice cinema vibe.Delivery: The seats came individually wrapped in plastic and inside a box. We had a media expert put these chairs together for us. Based on the instructions it did not seem that hard to put it together. One of the boxes arrived broken, so we did check the seats carefully and took photos of the box prior to opening in case the seat was damaged as well.Overall, very happy with these seats!

I have had these seats since about January 2015. Arrived in big boxes. I got the 5 year warranty. They were fairly easy to assemble and the curved row is pretty cool! It fits well with my home theater setup. They have light up cup holders as well as under seat lighting. The power recline is easy, and there is also a lock button to prevent from accidentally reclining. I love reclining in these and playing video games or watching TV on my projector.That being said I have a few cons about these chairs. The first is that the arms are not as soft as I would want, but since they are theater seats and not recliners I will let that slide. I had an issue where one of the seat's recline mechanism stopped working, and it took a total of 1-2 months to get the problem fixed completely. First they sent one repair guy over, and he didnt have the tools needed to fix the problem. Apparently the problem was the control mechanism on the chair, and I think the problem might have been that the dust cover that was supposed to cover the entrance to that control box was not secured properly when the chairs were delivered. Also, another problem which has still not been resolved is that one of the grommets that hold the tray tables will not fit a tray table. The grommet is too small for the tray table peg to fit in.Probably my biggest issue here is the TERRIBLE design of the tray table insert system. Apparently when you spin the tray table counterclockwise, the grommet can fall inside the chair! This means that until a repair guy comes over, the tray table insert is unusable, and it looks absolutely horrible as you can see the padding inside the chair. I have had friends that spun the tray table only once and had the grommet fall in. I hope they fix this issue with these chairs.That being said, the few quality control issues will make me take off one star, and the tray table insert design will make me take off another. I really like sitting in these chairs though and they look nice, they are 5 stars without all the design flaws.

Two weeks so far...and we are happy with our Octane Turbo XL700 3 Seater Curved Bonded Leather Home Theater Seating. It's very comfortable, the bonded black leather is beautiful and well-made, it has sturdy construction, it's easy to assemble, it has cool blue lighting effects, accessories can be purchased, the power recline is effortless and well worth the extra expense to power it up over manual recline. Decided to purchase for it's mid-level pricing, the added features, and it's an Octane!
